No cheating! No peeking! No rattling the package! No fiddling with the bow or tugging on the wrapping paper before the clock hits midnight!

But once it is the 18th, feel free to find out what your Secret Santa gifted you this year. Post about it here, exclaim your delight and please consider posting a picture, if that's possible for you. This thread is for sharing the joy of the presents that the AH Secret Santa participants sent to each other this year, and to say thank you.

I'm so excited! :D

Kat <---- still nervous as all hell that her person won't like her gifts.

Thank you so much Jen for putting this all together:kiss:. I'm sorry to hear you were sick through it as well, but are feeling better.:rose: Merry Christmas to you and yours and hope all your wishes come true.

Soon.

I'm really kinda nervous about whether my giftee likes what I sent.

This is only my second year participating. Last year I drew Grace's number.:D

Ok, I'm up and it's techinally the 18th here in these parts of Florida....

so I'm opening mine up.:)

*smiles*

OK. Just a little history...

I am one of those odd types of people...I really feel uncomfortable receiving gifts. I just don't feel "worthy" especially at Christmas time.

See, I can always think of other folks that need more than I do.

Especially children...

My Secret Santa made a donation to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in my name.

I'm sitting here with tears running down my face.

It has special meaning to me, since I lived in Memphis and have been a contributor to this wonderful organization for years.

Thank you for giving the gift of hope and life, Magica.:kiss:

Awww, that is lovely Misty. :)

And today, I am so glad I live in the UK! I CAN OPEN MY GIFT NOW *dances*

I opened it, I opened it!

Thank you Wenchie. I love the Christmas card and how nicely wrapped everything was. I love that cook book! (Donna Hay's Modern classics 2) and the measuring cups and spoons are awesome. I love red and I've wanted some interlocking ones for ages! Thanks so much! :rose:

Will post photos later, I need to charge my camera first!

Now when we post our recipes, you'll have the proper measurements. ;)

Now all she needs is for someone to send her new knobs for her stove and oven so she can follow US recipes ....they got that funky system over there ....:D

I know, I wanted to buy her an oven thermometer in US as well but the grinch said I had sent enough.

Mine came in a wonderful box, it has Christams Tree's on it. Inside was a beautiful dark red Snuggie! Which I have wanted one since we went on that trip to the states in October and I saw them! :D Thanks so much Nero it is wonderful and very much needed since I am staying a bit cold right now with theses storms. I can now work on my final without getting tangled in a laptop blanket mess. :nana::kiss::rose::heart:

I'll post photo later, need coffee now and to try and see if the school is closed.

hehe Lakeland over here started selling a little magnet to put on your stove that has the conversion oven temps on it. Very very much needed.

I have some cup measures an American friend sent me, bless him, but they're, wow, 5 or 6 years old now and kinda worn and I'm always misplacing them. Now I have shiny new joined up together ones I'll find harder to loose! *LOL*

I have these recipe books I write online recipes in and in the front of each one I have a conversion table. I'm well prepared. :D

Should I nap now and open later or open now and be done with all the excitement and anticipation? Hmm....open now! hehehe

*scurries off to get package*
*ripping off outer layer*
Oooh...cool book about Wolves and the relationship between them and Man

Bwahahahahaha...a set of underwear for squirrels....

and a wonderful card with a very sweet message...

Thank you, Secret Santa! *BIG hug and lingering Happy Christmas kiss*

This is such fun. hehehe

Kat <---- still nervous as all hell that her person won't like her gifts.

And you worried for nothing Kat. Thank you so much for being my Secret Santa. I love the Atlas of the Universe, I've been looking through it like crazy and can't stop marvelling at the pictures. I'd also like to thank your hubby for his wonderful talents as well. The suede leather flogger he made is beautiful. It has a nice feel and good weight to it. I'm sure some lucky woman is going to enjoy feeling it caress her body. And that brings me to the last little gift. I'm hoping the "Sex Bell" will call her to me when I ring it, lol. :D And it was all wrapped so nicely too!

Thank you again Kat, Merry Christmas to you and yours and all the best in the new year to come.

p.s. my son has my camera, so I can't take pics :(

No matter how hard I tried, I could not stay awake until midnight last night!

My gift was wrapped in a pretty red paper (red is my favorite color!) and inside was a beautiful, soft, deep red handmade blanket. :D I am so happy I got cloudy as my Secret Santa. I've wanted one of her blankets since I heard she made them. Thanks!!! (will post picture when I'm more awake, lol)

Ha, I just discovered another present just tucked inside the lovely cook book are some hand written cards with cookie recipes on, awesome. I'm going to make them all soon!

And Thank You, Misty!!!!

I've just opened a tropical party pack! Just the thing I need with the temperature at minus 20 Celsius today! Even an inflatable palm tree and flamingo! Hot sauce and key lime pie mix, too! And my office is covered with tropical confetti!!! I'll be the envy of the department!!

The gulf coast sunshine would have been nice, too. Sorry it wouldn't stay in the box, but you know how it is with sunshine, Misty. But don't worry; I'll be landing in Clearwater for 10 days of Florida sand and sun at the end of February. Your present gives me a headstart on the pleasures. Again, thank, thank thank you!

I'm off to a meeting now; I'll check back in later to see all the other presents. Have a great opening day party, all!

Glad you found them. These are the cookies everyone wants me to make for them so thought I'd pass them along. ;)
