So, the year-end category noms are up, and I just stepped through them and voted.
Must say I'm pretty pleased with the nominated selection.
All other years, my personal favourites have not made it to the final round. But this time, I must say that there are, in all potery categories, poems that I consider among the very best ones of the year. Ones that I have saved and printed and reread on a regular basis. And I'm picky as hell. last year the nominations missed all the poems that I had taken to my heart. But not this time.
Even more pleasing is that, whichever one wins, both in Erotic, Non-Erotic and Illustrated, I will not be grinchy and pout. Even if it's not my pick. Cuz this year they are all happened to be IMO quality writes. And that has not been the case all the time. (Eh...does that sound snobbish? Feh, so be it. )
Now, if you haven't, go cast a vote.
