In this category, please nominate the writer who affected you the most in 2002. Whose stories did you seek out and enjoy? Who made laugh/cry/etc.?

Author must be an active Literotica author who submitted stories during the year 2002.

One nomination per member, please.

I nominate Thesandman

He's probably the most prolific writer I've noticed and I haven't read anything that I really don't like. While not perfect I think he is technically very good and he provides very good imagry. He's bridged several categories and done very well in most. Anyway, he gets my nod.

most influential author

The next nominee for most influential author is...
KILLERMUFFIN !!!
Muffin's efforts to improve the writing of literotica's community members shows her interest and desire in the field of erotic fiction. The advice she hsgiven is far reaching, fair and constructive. No singal person since my 11th grade English teacher has influenced my writing in a more positive fashion.

Hmm..same as last year = )

I nominate Tatewaki.

I seek his stories out, and I also seek him out for help with my own work. He seems to be a never ending source of help and information, although usually upset by the few number of votes he receives = )

Chicklet

I nominate Chicklet :)

Beyond her sheer number of stories (good job!), she has a talent for drawing you in and helping you experience the story rather than observe it.

I second Chicklet's nomination. She works hard and writes well.

(But did she HAVE to mention the voting thing?)

I 3rd that nomination...and start a whole New one for her, too!

Chicklet an amazingly inspired and prolific writer. Both with her own work and her encouragement of others. She manages to weave her prose poetically yet non-self consciously. She is one of the few authors I always find myself coming back for her next submission.

I'll vote for JustJohn1. New writer, yet technically very impressive and with a skill for writing an interesting story.

The Earl

Most Influential Writer - Sabledrake

I'd like to nominate Sabledrake. Because she has an absolutely stunning body of work. She's one of the most skilled and talented writers on or off Literotica that I've had the pleasure of being influenced by *^_^*

yay Sabledrake !!! If you haven't read her stuff, do it !!!

We Srcond and Third the nomination for TheSandman

The Sandman's Writings in the Ya-Ya series made us want to try our hand at writing ...non have been hardly good enough (yet) to post but we are trying.

He has influenced us to read more and to keep trying.

Thanks Sandman

The BeachLovers :p

I fourth the nomination of the Sandman. I really get turned on by some of his writings. Thanks, Sandman!

hear hear!

Thesandman

Make me number 5 for Thesandman. I have to admit I can't always read everything in one sitting, but I never cease to be amazed by the detail and the number of characters in some of his stories and how well he keeps the reader from becoming confused. I don't know how he finds the time to put out so many long, quality stories, but I hope he keeps it up!

Most influential writer

I nominate Silken_Dreammaid. Body of work, perhaps not voluminous as yet. Body of spirit, now there's where it takes just a taste. She moves me, makes me salivate for what life is, and to seek it as none other. Her words shake my soul, and not with fear, but with a quickening that is dear.

Well, I have to go with Thesandman. His fertile imagination, story ideas, character building and just plain eroticism is incredible. I have read everyone of his stories and while some are not as good as others, he never ceases to amaze me overall.

JUDO.

She was a harsh generalissimo, but she came up with a terrific plan for the chain story. On top of that, I knew that my story would have to stand with hers. Daunting indeed. That threat made my story better than it otherwise would have been.

Plus, JUDO is warm and fuzzy (except when she wears her generalissimo suit--then she's scary).

I'd like to nominate Sir Hugs.

Not only does he have a fertile imagination and good stories, it's just amazing how much of his time and effort to other writers on the site. If you go into the feedback forum some of the names you see on this list are begging for feedback and giving nothing in return. Sir Hugs rarely--if ever--begs for feedback. Instead, he gives it. And he gives it wisely with an eye toward helping not just the author who requested feedback but anyone intelligent enough to read both the story and critique and then apply it to their own writing.

My vote goes to Killer Muffin... her writings make me tingle

nomination

I would like the honor and pleasure of nominating a terrific author, Wm_Sexspear. The man not only is one of the most prolific writers on the site, he's given a lot of joy to a lot of writers and readers. Long live Sexspear!

I nominate George Tasker, who managed to keep me interested in literotica when nothing else has.
