Rent some videos! It worked for me, best bet is to ask the birthday girls to choose which video's they want (trust me what you pick will never be cool enough!). I allowed my daughter to have a sleepover party once, never ever again!

You could also grate some valuim and disolve it in their softdrink.....lol

Hmmm how about some board games, cards, something along those lines, or even letting them listen to some tunes, they could have a blast with that. If all else fails, velcro them to the ceiling *G*

lots of craft stores sell art kits. buy a bunch of pretty breads and pretty cord and they can make jewelry.
videos and board games are good.
cheap cosmetics are fun to play with. spread some newspaper over the floor and they can paint each other's nails and put on hideous eye shadow to their hearts' content.
have them play games where they get to run around and scream. capture the flag and the like. this will make them tired.

I just remembered that my 'guests' had a blast with our video camera...I set it up on a tripod so it could be viewed on the tv and then just let them go for it.....little girls love seeing themselves on tv!
Oh and we made pizza rather than buying it too, that kept them amused for a bit too.
