1) I used to have a story listed on my Author Page that I started, but it seems to have disappeared. What happened?

That seems to happen sometimes to a pending story for no clear reason. It's happened to me too.

2) I am wondering if anything can be done to approve threads when the editors seems to have let the story drop/stopped caring. I don't mind having a thread approved.denied, but having them pending for over a year is a bit much, esp. when I have an idea of what could happen after my previous thread.

If the author left it possible for a thread to be approved by the votes of other Chyoo members or by trusted story writers for that story, you can encourage such people to vote for your thread. Check the story summary to see if it's possible.

If the author did not, you can send them feedback through their author page, and if they are still reading the email address they gave Chyoo, they might approve your thread.

The Chyoo guidelines suggest that an editor of an abandoned story could be replaced, but this has not happened, given that the site isn't being actively moderated.

Yea I can understand the frustration of waiting for an author to approve...esp when you feel its a good addition and then it takes forever to get approved -sigh- happens doesn't it? Oh well I suppose...have fun posting to active editors stories!
