The question there becomes how does it happen at the get go?

Though an interesting twist on that could be that she is the "good" cheerleader who never really cared about the status that goes with it. She did it because she's genuinely full of school spirit and athletic and would happily have dated these guys. However she reacts the same way most people would to a threat like that. A combination of fear of her life being ruined (assuming we're talking high school or early college you could easily be talking the difference between her not getting into her college of choice or job of choice. I don't care if people pull up old threads... For the purpose of this board; however, I think a new post that offers something to the idea is not "askimg too much". Ya know? Why does there need to be any coercion, bet, or anything? Maybe she's just a really nice, sexually active young woman.
