Republicans cheer because criminals were killed in Texas. Rick Perry decides do push aside evidence that a man was innocent,
and sends the man to his death.

They are Christians? They believe in the law?

Republicans cheer because Rick Perry cut the budget for Texas. Texas was in the midst of the worst one-year drought on record.
Texas is on fire. Texas owes millions to the federal government.

Rick Perry gets more money and more help from the federal government.

Rick Perry preaches that the federal government spends too much money.

"America needs jobs, smaller government, less spending and a president with the courage to offer more than yet another speech."

Rick Perry cut the Firefighting budget-Truck are broken. No gas for the firetrucks. Safety equipment that does not work.
Rick Perry cut The Texas Forest Service's budget- Not enough equipment to go around.
Rick Perry cuts the Grants to volunteer fire departments- Nothing to fight the fires with.
Rick Perry cuts the budget for the Texas Commission on Fire Protection- Is the air tank safe? Is the safety clothing safe?
- Six inspectors covering 700 departments, including Houston's 4,000 firefighters.

The budget cuts kicked in the first week of September 2011-
How much equipment and supplies were lost to the fires?

Homes lost and not on the lists because there are not enough people to take count.

I think labeling the Tea Party as Social Conservatives is a media-driven slander that the Left keeps repeating in order to make good use of Alinsky's rule 11 in order to smear the whole of the Republican Party by smearing a subset, ironically, something the Left is very careful about not doing to Islam or the Obama administration's bad apples...

Texas has a balanced budget law meaning things have to be cut, unlike Washington DC which just endlessly borrows and prints so that none of the favored constituencies have to feel any pain.

The people of Texas decide how much they want to spend on government and the Legislature and Governor have to make the tough decisions. He did. He got reelected.

Obama made zero tough decisions, but he made decisions politically popular with the majority of his base; this is why he will not be reelected, the rest of us are being forced to pick up the tab for meals and drinks we did not order...

I like the ideal where the government doesn't spend more than it takes in. I don't particularly care where the ideal is coming from. I know it's not going to happen overnight but it'd be nice if someone at least made a fucking attempt.

Secondly, um, yes, of course values voters and "libertarian" leaning conservatives can "get along" as many are the same people.

Thirdly, the real division in the "right" is between foreign policy hawks and America first anti-interventionists. Social radical bad people liberals for whatever reason seem to ignore this natural division which they could exploit and don't because of their obsessive, demonic inspired obsession with anti-values extremism. Strange.

Forthly, Tea Party has little to do with anything. Again, why the social liberals and Dumbocrapic extremists and the media are so obsessed with Tea Party is odd.

The TEA party is not a party at all.

The name is a play on words with an historical ring to revolutionary times.

TEA means "Taxed Enough Already"

Not being a party, it does not have spokeshumans like the Pro-Terrorist Party or the Grand Old Party.... both of which are, indeed, real "parties."

Not withstanding the army of pro-terrorists wandering around various TEA rallies trying to locate a nutjob or two with a Birther or Hate sign, there is no party unity on any subjects other than federal taxation and size-of-government issues.

What the pro-terrorists want is to find some really whacked out dude at a TEA rally and make him their Timothy McVeigh poster child.... so they can always point to said person while furthering the cause of freedom's destruction.
