Welcome back! That's a decent break, but I'm sure it gave you time to come up with some fresh ideas.

Most of us have writing issues of some sort. I've been told I write really good dialogue, but I know my sex scenes could be hotter. A lady I do some editing for writes really hot scenes, but she thinks her dialogue is terrible.

FWIW - just have fun writing.
