My wife (16 in 1969) tells me that as far as she is concerned the major thing about the 1960s so called sexual revolution she noticed was that girls were not permitted to say No.
That's not the way I remember it. And, no, I didn't inhale.![]()
Well that's certainly the way she does.

Hey zotique,
My wife and I are now in our late sixties and fast approaching seventy and we both agree with what others have said, "It's not how we remember it." Where was she living at the time?
It was Germany, and she says that if a girl wanted male companionship, fucking was mandatory.
It was "fuck or fuck off," plain and simple.

Hey zotique,
I personally find this disturbing but I know very little of the German culture especially during the 1960's. I was raised near two large US military bases here in South Carolina and have met families where women from Germany had married US soldiers for the sole purpose of getting out of Germany during that time frame. So something was apparently going on.
I hope this is not haunting her as she close to our age and deserves to be at peace and well loved.
