Co-writer can make the lady fit them so looks and personality would be up to them. I am ok with doing 1st or 3rd person writing. Would love to brain storm with my co-writer, please pm me if you would like to take on the role of the female main character. I am presuming she will be 18-20 something, tho I am ok if you want do a older woman of any age.
My idea will be taken place in the mid west. A widow is apart of a wagon train going out west somewhere in the span of 1860-1900ish. Late enough for the repeating rifle with modern style ammo while wagon trains still pushed west. If you remember the tv show "The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams" will give you a idea of what I would be like. I could see realistically my guy being 41, tho I am willing to play a 18 year old male. I would look something like this odds are.
I am thinking she would be a widow as back then it was not very common for a woman to own land, or have a high paying job and buying the wagon and all the food one would need to make the trip would cost allot I am open to the female character being single. Odds are for that time she would be young like 18-20. I could see being single if she is a only child and her dad died in the war the family might need to sell the house and move out west in that setting. This would be the time frame of American Civil War and the "Indian Wars" 1860-1890 like around Custer's death in 1876
