I imagine it depends on what type you get too. I mean they say having a tongue ring isn't a bad thing but after me a and a few friends have had to have surgery I beg to differ with that.

Right. I wouldn't get my tongue pierced for a few reasons: I've seen people that have had them for a while, and they usually start to wear away at their teeth. Plus I play the flute, so goodbye embouchure!

I just love having piercings, but I'm not a fan of the face-full of metal look. That's why I'm after so many body piercings. Getting my nipples done turned out to be a great idea, as I discovered when I "used" them the first time. ;)
