Just sitting here and have a question for my self more than anybody else really.

How do you come across a Dom. no this is not a personal ad this is a has every body else done type question. have found a few munches around but cant seem to get the nerve up to go by my self and walk in and introduce my self as a new sub to people I have never met before and have had a bad experience in the past with Online Dom’s and taking it to a real life reality and when reality hit I did not like what happened ( no this is not a he was to strict or anything was more than that ) so can any one tell me how or what they have done in the past to find a Dom or other subs in their area to talk to.

I'm in the same boat. I had what I thought was a wonderful Dom and then the truth came out (he was a big liar). I'm looking too and the only places I have found to look are alt.com and bondage.com. They are good places but it still seems sort of hard to find someone. They are good sites though. Hope that helps a bit. Good luck

Don't be shy and just go to one of the munches in your area. You do not have to introduce yourself as a "submissive". The purpose of munches isn't to "find" someone, but a chance to meet people in your area who share common interests.

This is a good way to make new friends and meet people in the lifestyle - and you never know, this may lead to introductions that lead to finding that perfect Dom for you *smiles*

when looking for guys to "hook up with" i tend to be attracted to guys with "dom" qualities anyway, so it usually just works out. there have been occasions in which i totally missed the mark and ended up going out with a male sub, in which case i ended up with a good friend! so i just look for guys like anybody else, i just have to figure out if they're a dom or not from there.

Munches don't always lead to play parties. In fact, most are held in restaurants, etc in very "vanilla" settings.

Munches are really good first events for people, as there is no fetish wear and no play. Even if people are not new, munches are still fun because you get to meet the new people and hang out with old friends. It's a wonderful opportunity for people
to come out and meet others in the community in an informal and
relaxed setting.
