that movie was lame. the story sucked and the special effects were only scary if you're half drunk and its 3 am.

Synopsis:
A family inherits a spectacular old house from an eccentric uncle. There's just one problem: the house seems to have a dangerous agenda all its own. Trapped in their new home by strangely shifting walls, the family encounters powerful and vengeful entities that threaten to annihilate anyone in their path. last night i retired to bed around 1am feeling tired and in dire need of a good nights sleep.
as it sometimes happens when your tired it can be difficult to fall asleep.
after about an hour of tossing and turning i opened my eyes with the intentions of maybe having a bit of a read to tire myself out.
when i opened my eyes and looked around the room seamed distorted.
i looked towards the end of the bed and their was a definate outline of a teenage girl. it was not a stationary image she was brushing her hair away from her face and definately looking straight at me. i could see a face but it was very faint and kept changing. she sat on the end of the bed and i could see the end of the bed sag under her weight.
at this point i sat up in bed eyes wide open and just looked at this girl. wondering what the fuck was going on.
she knelt in front of me and went to put her arms around me. (this was very real and very happening) i took my hands and tried to shoo the image away expecting it to just disapaer. it didnt
the image at this point changed it was still agirl but alot smaller and was hovering in front me waving her arms at the side of my head.
This really started putting the shits up me. i rolled over telling myself that it was just tricks with the light. upon turning i saw another image similar to that of the girl. this time the person (male/female?????) was black and it started to do the same. i at that point had these two images aside of me putting the shits up me.
i got up and went down stairs to the light and the saviour of the tv for a while.
i fell asleep downstairs.
now i know that the dark can play silly buggers with your mind/eyes but i was bolt awake seeing these images in front of me. have i had my first experience of ghosts?is my house haunted?were there two girls who died there before we bought the house? was the dark just fucking with my head? am i just a loonie?
it was a wicked experience tho

go rent 'psycho' the original, for god's sake no ann heche! its a scary and very well done movie...that goes for about any hitchcock movie though...
