Maybe through bloodshed. I hope not.They make it seem like these kids were living an idyllic existence and the US ripped them from their parents. These poor kids were crying long before they got here. And I wish they would stop describing this as an immigration policy issue. It most certainly is not. This is a legal issue. This is a border control issue. Also wouldn't people fleeing Guatemala and Honduras be better off culturally and socially in Mexico?

I think you hit upon a larger point. Everywhere "not Capitalism" has been imposed, we have misery and the attempt to escape. As bad as so many want to find and highlight "misery" in the United States due to Capitalism, they cannot, for the lives of them, find the desire for an exodus on the part of the down-trodden.



To rephrase some of what Trump tried to articulate, we cannot be the safety valve for the pressure-cooker of polities "not Capitalism."
