Boring, been done before, nothing new here.
Ahh well, so this is my 100th post. Nothing really special about that, if you're bored, go away. But I sorta felt that I wanted this one to be one of my own, my own drivel rather than a response to someone elses original thought.
So far on this board, I have witnessed debates about the ethics of welfare and family size restriction. I have been involved in discussions on religion and the nature or responsibility. I've also talked about what makes women attractive to me, and what I enjoy in the sack (or on the sack, or beside the sack, and so forth.) Not to mention several comments on something new.
Now discussion like this never happens so openly and honestly in my RL. Perhaps thats just my bad luck, but I can't think it's all bad luck 'cause I aint never had anyone talk the alphabet to me either.
I enjoy being here and meeting new people with ideas and ideals, regardless of whether I think those ideas are pretty whack or not. I've also met some that are developing into friendships - which is certainly somehting that I don't do easily in RL.
Now get to the end of this and get on with it. A question for you. Do you think that the BB encourages this behaviour because:
A. We can hide in anonomity(sp?) and not be afraid of rejection or a whole lot of other things that happen off line?
B. We have encountered a group of people who share enough interests and attitudes that we could have the same discussions if we actually met?
