I have poems that have 1 vote, and I was the one that voted!
I have poems that need 1 more vote to get to the magic 10.
I have good poems (I know they're not that bad!) but they were riddled with 1's and now no one will touch their bloody rhymin' carcasses!

Oh, the point of this thread:
If you have a poem that needs some attention, then post the link here. Voting can help you get an idea of how well your poem is being received by others.

Just start out with one or two links and if you get the desired results, add some more.

Votes vs Hits

I am, like many of you, a published author and have submitted 41 works to this site. All but one of which have been accepted. Only one poem has more than 10 votes. Several have well over 100 hits, but none of them have more than five votes. Most have less than three. I have a poem and an explaining story that I think are fairly good. The story (a fable), [511 hits, two votes, rating five] was written to explain the metaphor of the poem [173 hits, five votes, rating 3.40] in case the reader might need clarification of intent/meaning.

Gaia's Lover is the poem, and Gaia's Lover: The Fable is the story.

Rybka, Gaia's lover is also a good poem. Haven't read the fable yet, but you've got my attention now

Chuckles... anyways, I viewed and voted on all here - in some cases a second time was tried...

Voting is as strange here as the lack of commenting from so many that view what is posted... even private comments.
There is even the 'phantom vote killer', that one has bitten Angeline and others (including me) with a blanket 1 or 2 across the board. 29-30 poems with a blanket 2, is a shame when a good poem ends up with a 2.5 avg, chuckles. Well at least I made both top lists - didn't stay too long in the second one...but what the heck.

Keep writing guys - Rybka and Lauren and Eve... a trilogy made in heaven and gracing my earth.
