Acccording to Lit's birthday list, CJ33 turned 17 today.

And he registered in Jan. when he was still 16. Why risk exposing yourself (by listing your under aged birthday in your profile) if you never correspond on the BB? Any child could read a story if they really wanted to, but registering here takes some time, and one would assume, a purpose.

No lie, if they're going to sneak into an adult message board, you would think they'd atleast be smart enough to lie about their age. Kids these days....

Maybe that's his FAKE age?

He just wishes he was 17 again

You never know

Well, if that's true he doesn't belong here in that persona. He's breaking Laurel's rules...

Not to mention...

If he's some "old adult who wishes he was 17 again" why wouldn't he make his "fake" birthday the day he registered? Why would he "admit" to being 16 for a couple of months first?

They would have to expect to be booted out, like this person will be once laurel sees it.

Or if she reads her PM. I always opt for the "tracking" when I send her PMs because more than half of them never seem to reach her.

who would fake being underage?

Many people fake being underage, usually for the sexual aspect of it.

At my chat site we boot if someone initially states they are under 18, regardless, just on principle.

Sure, "many" people do fake being minor children on the net, but usually not in places where minors are forbidden. In AOL and Yahoo chat rooms I have seen many who claim to be under 18, etc. Usually they are some pedophile looking to act out some sick fantasy on the net.

In a place like Lit, or your site you've mentioned, where minors are kicked out once discovered, I doubt many adults would lie about it "just for the privilege of being kicked out".

I figure that this particular person is actually underaged, but I was only saying that it does happen. Not all adults are overly bright and sometimes they will lie and say they are under the legal age, at an adult site, hoping that no one will 'catch them' and toss them out.

Also, I cant imagine faking it, for sexual reasons at a site which forbids menton of underage.

This makes a ton of sense.

What "joy" could a "minor" get if underaged sexual acts cannot be mentioned at Lit?

Also, keep in mind that this person registered in the beginning of Jan. '03 and has yet to make a post at Lit. If he only wanted to read stories, why register? If he's an adult pretending to be a kid, why hasn't he posted yet?
