Wasn't that a great show? Simpler times for a simpler people. Before all the scandal. Jimmy Carter lusting in his heart. Gas lines. Archie Bunker. Bugs Bunny was still funny. Lief Garrett. Saturday Night Live. Polyester. Teflon. "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature." Parkay. I'd like to teach the world to sing...

Growing up sucks, not for me, mind you, but for a culture. America has matured; would this be our rebellious teenage years?

My apologies to the young'uns here. :D

Wow... Gee.... that brought back some memories...

Thanks
Pepin

Its an interesting thought. Its strange but we thought they were relatively uncomplicated then. But I know my parents thought that they were very complicated times, especially if you had teenages. Then my parents thought that my Grandparents lived in uncomplicated times.
I wonder if our kids when they reach our ages (mine is 35), will think that these years are uncomplicated?
Does life with each generation get more complicated? or does it just appear that way?

Mornin' Ambro :) *hug and a kiss*

Yep...those times were pretty good. I remember thinking that the word busy was in my vocabulary back then, but I can't for the life of me remember WHY!!
I miss the time when every night had something good on TV. Now, if it weren't for cable, my kids couldn't watch it at all!
