Doing great here in the ATL on a crisp, frosty morn. Went last night to see a friend and her new baby at the hospital. Everyone is doing fine, even after an emergency C-section (baby was breech). I held the new boy, Zachary, for about 1 1/2 hours. He was so tiny, weighing in at 6 lbs.
He is a beautiful sight, and made me want my own that much more. His little eyes are still sensitive to light (he squints when lights are on) and his little mouth didn't stop moving in what appeared to be a very one sided, silent dialogue. Everything is right in the world when you hold a new born.
Good Morning world.
