This is the first thread on this in the PG. Which brings up something: I wish we had more event/TV show movie threads. I guess that is seen as a GB thing by folks here, and politics should definitely stay there. But I don’t see why the PG doesn’t do more threads like this.

I debated putting it here, but ultimately decided there could be enough overlap with sex and fun. I wasn’t posting it on the GB...those people scare me.

Exactly. So maybe event threads should pop up more here.

Big Simone Biles fan here. Planning to watch her for sure. I love watching track and field, and swimming events.

If speed walking can be an Olympic sport, then I guess ping pong can too. Have you ever watching professional speed walking? It's weird. Watching them naked I think would be worse.

I can't stop thinking about how much sand probably gets stuck in the ass cracks of volleyball players during each game. Think that's why they have to refill the sand after each match?

It's hard to pick a favorite event, but I really like diving, gymnastics, and rugby. I'll watch as much of those as I can find.

I don't mind that skateboarding is an Olympic event. I do find it a bit jarring to see Olympians competing in cargo pants.
