Happy May Day!

If my country ever has carnival, it's this day. Well, cooling down already as its evening, and tomorrow is an ordinary workday.
 
Tuesday we had record highs. Tuesday night, a major thunderstorm, and lost power through late Wednesday. Fun, fun, fun. :) At least things are mostly up to normal now...
 
For May Day my wife went to a Musk/Tesla protest. I stayed home as I had my final crown appointment and dental work always knocks me out.

The gout is much better even though my feet are not 100 percent. I actually managed a little yard work over the weekend.

Saturday. Doesn't really feel like one - I'm all messed up with the weekdays now, this week has totally confused me. Thursday was a bit like Saturday already.
 
Normally I’d offer greasing and salubriations, but not currently feeling it. Hope things are well regardless

It’s warm and muggy here, my wife turned on the AC to cut the humidity in the house.

And we’re looking forward to our daughter returning from France on Saturday!

I spent half of yesterday cleaning. Continued today (catching up with backlog stuff), and also did baking. Tomorrow icing the cake and cooking... As it will be Mother's day here here, and I have promised delicious lunch for my parents.

But right now I think I need a drink after all the effort today to relax. Malibu and coke, maybe?

Busy weekend. Took two hours of bumper to bumper traffic to the airport but somehow managed to get there as our daughter’s jet was landing. Sunday was somehow simultaneously busy and lazy as my wife enjoyed her day and I got us bagels in the morning and made dinner, as well as going to the nursery to buy the first batch of plants for the season (impatiens and coleus for the patio, some ferns for under tree). Daughter is slowly adjusting back to American (Eastern) time.
