👀 What are you watching on ______ (Netflix/HBO Max/Hulu/etc.) 📺💻

Just watched "Sins of Our Mother" on Netflix.
Now I need something much, much lighter.

I read the book over the summer, however I’ve not had a chance to watch the movie.

The book caused me to become a Tom Ford fan… probably not the result they expected.
I highly recommend, it was very good, but very long. Would love to read the book.

HBOMAX has Gas Light, the movie which inspired the term gaslighting. I love old movies so I enjoyed it despite the cheesy overacting.

The term gaslighting is thrown about willy nilly these days. People who overuse the phrase should be forced to watch the movie so they see how extreme that situation was.

The closest I've come to being gaslit was growing up in organized religion. But that was probably more blatant hypocrisy than gaslighting.

I haven't watched the movie but I'm pretty familiar with the term. The situation doesn't have to be extreme or long term for it to be gaslighting.

I won't promise to watch it bc i prob won't but I know the premise of the movie. (Ty tiktok lol)

I knew the premise but didn't realize how extreme it was.
