🏡PLP's Bazaar of the Bizarre: A Study Hall for the Deviant and Delightful

I got Mona Lisa. Which is a little ironic because I'm really not a fan. I LOVE art. And I've seen this one in person. I just don't like it. 🤦‍♂️
I remember being underwhelmed when I saw it. I don't know what I expected to experience, but it was kind of... Meh lol.

It's a great film though. Bob Hoskins is always a Must Watch for me, and it was my first exposure to Cathy Tyson, as I recall, and she makes me want to sit in the naughty corner. I'd want to take her with me, mind (well, it is called the "naughty corner" for a reason...).
I've not even heard of this! **Heads over to the Google.**

Exactly!

My hobby is oil painting, and I can very much appreciate the technical skill it took to paint her. In some ways, she's perfect....I just don't LIKE her. 😂

Give me the Impressionists any day.
I oil paint as well! Totally get that and appreciate the skill it takes to paint a portrait but yeah, maybe it's because she's been discussed and portrayed so often throughout history that by the time you see the real thing it's just not that impressive. (Even though it is 😂🙈)

Oh that's so cool to meet a fellow artist!! I'll show you mine if you show me yours! 😋 Artwork that is! Lol I'll see if I can DM you some.

And I think you're probably right. Maybe a little bit of "familiarity breeds contempt."

I learned today that every year NIKON has Comedy Wildlife Awards featuring accidentally funny pictures of animals.

Likely no one will care but I think these are my favorites and I'd love to hear your funny captions!
