It's a great film though. Bob Hoskins is always a Must Watch for me, and it was my first exposure to Cathy Tyson, as I recall, and she makes me want to sit in the naughty corner. I'd want to take her with me, mind (well, it is called the "naughty corner" for a reason...).

I oil paint as well! Totally get that and appreciate the skill it takes to paint a portrait but yeah, maybe it's because she's been discussed and portrayed so often throughout history that by the time you see the real thing it's just not that impressive. (Even though it is )
