There are so many places to go with this one. I decided I wanted to avoid novelty songs or songs by primary humorists. And I have a weakness for murder ballads. There was a bit of cry over this one (not as much as they would face later) from people (usually men), who clamorously screeched "would it have been funny if the genders were reversed?" To which I counter argue, "shut the fuck up with that shit." And that should be the final word.

I love the Dixie Chicks, and still don't hate their original name (I love me some Little Feet). I love this song. I specifically love "turns out he was a missing person who nobody missed at all." Love the video too.
