Day 7: A song for a foggy/misty morning

This one took me all over the place. One, morning fog has a different feel than night fog, so I had to dig into that. Morning fog is sleepy, yet hopeful, at least to me. This wasn't on my original list, but I ended up here. Kind of like driving in the mist.

"Boston and St. Johns," Great Big Sea.

A slow song of hope, from one of Newfoundland's great party bands, with a page out of Shakespeare's morning scene in Romeo and Juliet as well. What I like is a lot of GBS's music is more raucous and energetic, with the view point of a roving lover who can't be tied down. This takes the rover from the fearful side.

"Close your eyes and dream
And tell me what you see
Tell me what you want
Just tell me that you'll wait for me"

And Séan McCann's tin whistle work is just perfect for a misty morning.

No extra points, which tells you how much this song means to me. I am all about the points.
