80% of life, and 100% of politics, is showing up. This is more evidence of who’s showing up this year.
UPDATE: Reader Michael Ubaldi writes: “I saw it with a friend this afternoon. The theater was easily three-quarters full. We were among a handful without gray hair, but for me, the D’Souza film matters in the same way the Chick-fil-A support day did: unanticipated conservative turnout.”

I'm no fan of Obama, but I'd rather just read about him on the internet for free.
Also, I believe that most of the elderly theater goers turned out for The Expendables.

from my experience in theatre, groups of senior citizens don't go out to the theatre in large groups without some sort of discount...this was probably part of some sort of package deal
this was probably orchestrated
Maybe there was a free movie ticket included with the early bird special at Long John Silver's.

after 9 weeks.. it's got a whopping 26 million in profits... which is only 3 million more then Lawless got in two weeks
