I've literally only just started. I've been working since leaving highschool to support myself, and spent a loooong time debating whether or not college would honestly be worth it until I met my husband. He's a great help so I don't have to worry so much about financial stress, and a constant inspiration and honestly just wants me to go find something I could be proud of and happy doing. Such a lucky lady I am.

You are incredibly lucky. Just remember during the hard times that he was there for you during your school years. I know through friends that being the spouse of somebody in a professional program is incredibly difficult. Some schools advise against being married and taking on intense programs because it leads to problems within marriage.

So you had better love the shit out of that man.... or I will come find you. =P

I let him know every day how much of a blessing he is in my life. Love him more than I could ever explain. He's a pretty phenomenal guy, no doubt working on his getting his own Personal Chef/Catering business on its feet while I'm in school at the same time. I'm taking my time though and so far have no debt to worry over, I'd be quick to put it on pause if its causing us issues.

Good. I'm very fond of loving marriages. I must admit that I'm envious, but one day....

It's funny, because five years ago, I never expected I'd be married and planning a family in a million years... we're one of those crazy 'fate-driven' love stories. I honestly never looked, never dated, wasn't the slightest bit interested in men. Probably because I've always been a mature minded, no-nonsense kind of lady.. maybe even a little stuck up.
So my hubby has the terrifying privilege of being the first man in my life not my father, hahahaha! Its my sincerest hope that those who really desire such a beautiful connection will have it. All good things are worth the wait.

Psychiatrists are MDs that specialize in medication management. My psych doc is awesome.

But sitting around the house without a damn thing to do while my hubby is at work has been killing me... and its only been three days. So, I've gone back to one of my favorite boredom outlets. My apologies Conager! I'm actually more so interested in hands-on therapy over signing off scripts and five minute meetings with patients... preferably with children or the troubled teenaged crowd. I know when I was younger, rowdy, misunderstood and prone to getting into trouble, my therapist and guidance counselor did wonders for me and probably kept me from doing too many things I'd come to regret. Ideally, I'd love to have my own practice, but that's the long-term goal. I'll probably scare myself thinking too far ahead.
