Does anyone know of any good URL's that give beginners good instructions and pictures (Step by Step) of how to tie up sub's? Thanks for your help.

THave you tried the library here?

There was a thread from a long time ago where Franscico gave a step by step class, sadly I never saved it.

catalina, Lara, AA do you know how to locate it?

Working on it right now. Will have the information momentarily.

And before you do ANY of it ...May I recommend that you go by your local store that sells the more serious first aid and home care stuff...

Tell them you want two pair of EMT scissors...

*grin* they will cut through a penny..
They will also cut through that 7/16ths or larger rope that you pyl has caused to tighten up through struggling.
And they have an end which will allow you to slide them under the rope..without gouging the pyl.
Keep one pair in the toybag.
Put one pair where they will not be used for anything else.So someone will not misplace them.

When/if you need them ...You will need them RIGHT NOW.

E's right- trauma shears are a nessesity!

ALWAYS remove ropes at the first signs of blood loss- skin turning cold, changing colors, going numb (and not after its been whipped).

Would suck to perminantly damage your pyl by misapplication.
Also, quick releases are nice- specially for that unexpected guest.

Unless you're inviting them to join in torturing the pyl... then have fun.

Start simple. Wrists and ankles bound firmly won't cause any damage.

If the binding is behind the back, for example, a bow knot that can be undone quickly, but can't be reached by the bound, works well.

Keep in mind, the purposes for tying are varied and do what works for the purpose. Is it accessability, humiliation or simply helplessness? In my case it's for pictures, so what I show is more about textures and such.

...unless it's done wrong, that is. Every knot can do damage if done improperly. (Too tight, etc.)
