Set some time in the future, the Star Confederacy is more of a galactic dictatorship than a governent. The planet Raxxis is famed (or notorious) as one of the Confederacies largest prison facility network.

I intend to have in this thread bondage, some mind control/suggestion, and similar. Other Governor-Wardens, Security personnel, and of course prisoners needed. :)

I have started the main thread here, as Warden-Governor Kale Marshal.

I'll play.

Humanoid of course, aren't we all? My kind are tall and slender, long limbed, but extremely strong.

The Confederacy doesn't know us well, just a few who ply our trade among the stars. Our homeworld's location is remains hidden. Nor are we more than entrepeneurs within the Confederacy. Sometime traders and sometime pirates, as need arises. Certainly not a threat, barely a nuisance. You deal with us as individuals.

We are by no means "super-powered" in anyway but we do hold a few of our abilities back to our advantage.

I have been on Raxxis for quite awhile, a misunderstanding between a freighter captain and myself. I maintain I was exercising my right to salvage. She said I caused her to be salvagable. Of course, I didn't realize I was so near a battlegroup when "the accident" occurred. Naturally and literally, they saw it her way.

Within the prison community, most leave me alone. Those who challenge me rarely do so more than once.

I am Suresh Sosheru Souesh.

If that's square with you vibro, I'll add in. If it's not, let me know what kind of parts you're looking for.

New Prisoner

Hi, would love to join in your thread in some way or another. My thoughts at moment, though brief.. this is if your intended prisoner is not cast already. If so, she could be just another new incoming :)

Elayia Jadin
Human
Age 24

Born to parents who remembered what it was like to truely be free, she grew up surrounded by a resistance movement. Never was she far from the middle of dangerous situations. At a young age she began listening in and soaking up information, and it wasn't long before she grew up enough to begin to take part in attempting to thwart the control the Conferderacy had. The resistance wished only to be free, and believed in whatever they had to do to get there. By the time she was 24 and eventually captured, she had a long list of 'crimes' against the confederacy and was quickly sent on her way to Raxxis, out of the way forever.

Just let me know!

Both character concepts sound fine to me - and the role of the incoming prisoner that has peaked Marshal's interest was not pre-cast Alerdene, so you are welcome to take up that part. I'd prefer the characters to all be 'human', but four-five thousand years into the future not all humans may be quite how we know them today, given scientific advances in genetics, cybernetics, nanotechnology, psionics etc.

Hey, I was thinking of joining the thread with a character who was kind of a mafia don within the prison planet, big in the black market and bribing some of the prison officials. If that works, let me know and I'll go more detailed. If not, I have some other ideas.

I think the prison security on Raxxis is pretty tight to allow any kind of black market to operate. Given the corrupt nature of that security and governor-wardens though, they are more likely to run such a scam than the prisoners, though depending on the bribes... hmm I don't know, it could work ;)

Yeah, basically I'm thinking like the scene in Goodfellas where the Mafiosos slip the guards some money and, in return, their prison terms are a little more pleasant than the rest of the pigs.

Terry "Tazz" Sullivan was born into mob royalty. His father, Big Pete Sullivan, was a smuggling kingpin widely known in the Star Confederacy and Terry had been groomed from an early age to take over when his father retired. He exceeded all expectations and his keen mind and instincts for all things criminals had him running significant parts of his Father's empire while he was still in his teens.

Like all successful criminal empires, the Sullivan's relied on big payoffs to the local government to keep their operation afloat and everything had gone smooth as silk for Terry until one day an overzealous Star System Governor had raided a ship of his full of slaves headed for one of his Brothels. The ship had been in Terry's name and he soon found himself in a situation he couldn't spend his way out of. A sharp Legal Advocate had bargained his sentence down to 10 years for Improper Human Transportation but due to his connections he had been assigned to Raxxis.

Once there he found that it wasn't like any other Prison World. There was no real black market that he could take part in, all the decent scams were being run by the screws. The only thing Terry could do to make his life bearable was make substantial monthly bribes to the Governor-Warden and the guards. His money bought him shipments of food, consumer goods, drugs and an exemption from the labour the other inmates were forced into. The other inmates were crammed into cell sized rat holes, Terry had a small apartment. The others ate whatever the Cafeteria served, Terry was allowed to cook his own steaks. As a result Terry was serving his term out by watching holodisks and playing cards with some guys he had known on the outside. Occasionally he was allowed to share his relative luxury with some of the female inmates that the guards had passed over.

While he lived well comparably, he knew he was still under the Warden's thumb and tread carefully.

Terry was 5'10 and wiry with slicked back black hair. He had a visible tatoo on his forearm of the logo of his Father's gang, the Black Shamrocks, and spoke with the thick accent shared by the people of his homeworld of New Boston. He is loud and talkative although prison has tempered his cockiness somewhat.

Great idea! Is there still room for more? I'd love to join in as a prisoner. Let me know and if I can join I'll post a character.

I'm sure there is a spare bunk or two left in the cells, Jenn ;)

Quite a few prisoners so far (3 male and 2 female) - anyone up for the onerous task of Security Commander? (male or female, the Star Confederacy is an equal opportunities employer)

I was looking forward to being tied up but I can be the Security Commander instead of a prisoner if you want?

Alena Dominquez

Age: 26

Alena joined a notorious street gang in her mid-teens. She was willing to do anything and everything asked of her, earning her respect, though it was given begrudgingly. After doing her fair share of the unsavory jobs no one else wanted she was put in charge of one of the major drug rings in her area. After a year a fellow gang member, jealous of her advancement, set her up to be busted during a bad deal with a trunk full of drugs. She was sent to Raxxis and has just arrived.

Notes on my last post:

Security drones - these half-meter or so diameter spheres have a limited artificial intelligence and can be also be directly controlled from security rooms. They can trigger tag-collar sensory inputs (causing things like the pain sensations in a prisoner), fire an electrical charge to stun/incapacitate a target up to about ten meters away, and also have six prehensile metal tendrils that can be extended from the bottom of the sphere which have a reach of about 5 meters. They move swiftly - can easily keep pace with a running man.

Prisoner processing - this involves firstly a strip-down and shower with foam which contains nanites to cleanse the body of a prisoner with any possible contaminations. Afterwards, the prisoners will be given basic clothing (orange jumpsuits and boots), before a 'welcome to Raxxis' speech by the warden and then the collars will be fitted.

Sure papillon. You could play either a prisoner (transfered perhaps from another 'prison district') or someone in the security personnel.
