For a very long time now I have been working on a book entitled "Dragon's Breath". I finally decided to post it here on Lit for the benefit and hopefully enjoyment of the readers who do enjoy Sci/Fi, especially in the fantasy/adventure of Elves, Dragons etc.

I truly would invite anyone who is interested to read this rather lengthy piece and let me know through your FEEDBACK and VOTES what you like, or don't like about it.

And yes...Elves do have sex lives too!

:D

Here's the link to "Dragon's Breath"

Thank you.

I don't know if I dare read it - not because I don't think elves have sex lives, but because the last sexy elf I read would be *damned* hard to top ;)

(And what a nice inadvertent double entendre that is, now that I look at it.)

That might be true...but trust me, there are several "very" sexy elves frolicking in this one. (And one or two pretty bad guys too!)

<grin>

I will try to take a look at it, but I just started a new job, and most of my reading is done on the bus lately.

Hmmm, maybe this site is printer-friendly? I can think of JUST the woman I'd like to casually sit next to and open up a racy story. I just finished "Seabiscuit", which is racy in its own way, but...

Well she might not think Dragon's are very racy...but trust me, there's one in this story that has a thing for female elves. :)

LOL...

Thank you. And the fact you're willing to read it means a lot to me SD. Nice to have a long time regular do that. :)

Wonderful work -

It took me a couple of days to do it justice.

(And when I have some spare time I'd like to read the entire thing again.)

Elves do have delicious sex.

;)

And thank you honey. I really appreciate your reading this, and hopefully enjoying it. :)

OK, that just made me teary-eyed.

What a rough year the both of us have had! (And the rest is better in a PM, obviously.)

Good to talk with you again, sweet man.

An update....

Thought I'd post this for anyone who is interested...and to say THANK YOU!

Exciting news!
Got word this morning..."Dragon's Breath" has been selected for publishing! <Finally!> The publisher is also sending me out a contract (Bear?) lol...to review for committment on further works/writing and on a continuation of the saga.

Interestingly, they saw the PC comments and stats on this story on Lit! So needless to say, the scouts are out there...and they are reading this stuff! So I seriously owe a lot of gratitude and thanks to each and everyone of you who've read/voted and commented on Dragon's Breath.

Thank you So very...very much. I don't think this would have been possible without each and every one of you.

And I will still remain,

LOL

Sounds as if it's PM time again . . .

;)

(check your messenger, baby)

Did I see my name here-yes I looked at the contract and of course knowing nothing about publishing and the law related thereto I promptly, after I receiving my standard fee for such endeavors, encouraged you to execute it. Just a lot of legal mumbo jumbo that nobody understands and besides, I found a loophole in the first paragraph and one under II(B)-unfortunately neither of which will help you but in litigation, could make some attorneys rich trying to figure out what the hell it means:cool:

congrats SM :)

yes...shocking, I'm actually looking around in other areas of Lit besides the pic section!
:D

will this be your first time being published?

so exciting to think about that.
I hope one day to put all my short stories into one collection and try to publish it as a book. Not for profit, but just so I can tell myself I did it :)

Actually, I've had a couple of poems published. But yes, this is the book I've been working on for nearly two years, and it was finally accepted for publishing. So I am rather excited, yes. *grin*

And thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it.

Well, that's cool!
I had one little poem published in one of those poetry collection books..but I don't count that. They publish just about anything...and you don't get paid for it. You retain your rights to it, but you don't get paid for it

Still..it's nice to know that I have my name and writings in some book out there :)

you're very welcome hon
I remember you were kind enough to comment to me one time..and I came across this...so I had to give you the big thumbs up ;) :)

I should come over to this area of Lit more often...makes me want to try and write more
hehe

*hugs*
