(if you want to post check out the Race of the Gods..its the ooc for this thread.. otherwise read and enjoy or pm me about joining)

In a dingy old building with three flaggens posted upon the hanging sign above the door, there sits a barkeep wiping tankards and watching the chaos around his tavern.

He grunts as he notices thelight green skinned man flirting with his beautiful daughter Nina. If it wasnt for the hordes of money he give him every week, the man would not be welcome here, simply because his daughter has been doing nothing but ogle him and worship him.

Of course he knew why. THe man did save her virtue from the rufffens that came into the tavern last fornight. He had been in the back getting a barrel of ale when he heard some of his furniture being broken. Immidiately he went out of the cellar and looked in to see that his daughter was huddled under a table behind the green man who was beating on some drunk men that claimed that they were taking her to meet her owner.. and that he would be quite happy to see her.

The green skinned man beat them to a bloody pulp then drunk himself under the table.

after which the man gave him a bag of gold and said,"he needed to get pissed drunk.. " I happily complied.. htere was enough godl in hte bag .. to make him close shop for the month.

However, the barkeep simply decided to offer him a room, and privacy.

And so he lives with the green skinned man , who speaks little but drink a hell of a lot.

His tavern was his life. his building was run down, but that could change.. if he saved enough money. His bar.. had twevle round tables, and four or five booths which were lined among the right wall, A stage in the back corner where the bards used to come in his father's day.. And the steps leading up to the Inn above where there were six rooms availabel to rent for the evening. Everything was of that old oak wood. He polished is bar with vigor. If only he coudl get more customers..

Meanwhile some where .. not too far away...below another tavern .. under the great deep cellar

The man smiled as a Young Fellow sucked his finger. Snider looked up after sucking hte blood off his finger smiling. THis would be the greatest vengence that he could have expected.. His luck was proving him well. All he had to do was find htat chit of a girl and bring her here.. After that he would be well on his way to the power that he saught.

A young woman with an innocent look dressed in a not so innocent robe, her silver symbol hanging between her breats as she leaned down to sign the paper in front of her. All she cared about was doing the bidding of her goddess .. if this was what she wished he to do than this was what she would do.

Smiling she stood slowly eyeing the man rolling up the paper that she signed. She watched him with her doe like eyes, eyeing her like a piece of candy. She smiled and licked her red luscious lips silently before walking away her hips swaying behind her. She knew the man watched her form as it slipped away from him.. She closed her eyes thinking that she would do what her Goddes said as well as having a bit of fun herself. after all .. she did worship a Goddess of Lust..

Another woman watched the disgusting display in front of her, then simply unsheathed her dagger slitting her finger and sliding the dagger back in its sheath .. she signed with a flourish before walking away. She like to do things quickly and efficiently.

Calixte "Cali" Mercer

I looked at the letter in my hand, the locket on the table and shook my head. The letter went swiftly into the brazier of the room I'd rented. The locket found its way on to the necklace of silver I wore around my neck always.
Shaking my faint lavender hair, I stood, taking a deep breath. I was already near the Tavern the letter had spoken of. The sun was just set and I was ready to go out and meet my destiny.
I was dressed rather colorfully, for me. A flowing red shirt, unbuttoned from neck to mid breast, though nothing showed. Skin tight black britches hidden from midthigh down by boots the same violet as my eyes, traced with black runes. A whip was clipped onto my belt on my right side, balanced by a shortsword on the left.
Throwing knives were tucked into the tops of my boots and on each forearm.
My shoulder length hair was held back by a black bandana. I looked, if I said so myself, pretty spiffy.
"Triple flaggen Tavern" I whispered as I left my room, closing the door behind me. It was a few streets over, in a not so nice area.
I left the Raven's Inn where I was staying, tossing a silver coin to the boy clearing tables. He'd keep an eye on my room for me.
The sea dity I'd been humming died in my throat as I entered the bar I'd been told to go to and saw a green man sitting in it.
"Hello, good sir," I said with a 'meet the client' smile. "Perhaps I could buy you a drink and see if you're the one I was told to seek out?"

Trianna

Trianna whispered in her mount's ear, a few simple elvin words and the horse slowed to a steady trot. His flanks were covered in sweat and he was breathing as if he had run a good race. Which was pretty much what had happened. Trainna had pushed him as much as she dared without causing him physical harm.

They were now on the outskirts of the city she had sought however, and she slid down from his back which was bare of saddle or blanket for she did not need them. She was an elf and a ranger. The animals were her friends, not her possessions. If she rode it was because her equine friends allowed it...not because she forced it on them.

Patting his nose, she gave him a carrot from the bag she wore around her hip. The only other visible things she carried were her bow and quiver of arrows.

"Thank you, my friend," She said soothingly to the horse who was happily munching on the treat,"You have done as I asked and I owe you a great favor. Should you or your kin need my help, you have only to seek me out."

The horse bowed his head quickly as if in acknowledgment of her words and she again whispered to him in elvin and he took off, heading back the way they had come but at a much slower speed, moving into the woods as soon as he could lest someone see and try to capture him.

She would not take him into a village of man for she knew that his freedom would not last long and she would not stand by and see such a free spirit broken.

Moving into the city on foot now, she looked for the place she was told to be at. The time had come to fulfill what the gods had set out for her to do.

The vision of the message still burned within her and it was added reason for her to hurry so quickly. She could not believe how blessed she had been to be sent such a special messenger from the gods!

The vision of that night still left her breathless and it was with great anticipation that she entered the Inn when she found it.

Letting her eyes adjust to the dimness of the place, she looked around and it was not long before she was able to see the one she was told to meet. How many others bore green skin? Not the green of the forest elf such as she wore, but his natural skin.

Another woman was approaching the man and Trianna hesitated to intrude but the message she was given was so urgent that she overcame that hesitation and moved forward to also address the man.

"You are the one spoken of whom I am told to meet?" She said in a direct manner. Her upbringing more among the animals than people had left her short of tact at times and she preferred the direct method to hinting around. It saved alot of time.

Ophelia

Ophelia leaned against the wall watching the other women who had been 'summoned' here as they signed the documents and left.

It still rankled her that she had been called thusly but she was still musing over the offer that they had given. It was the only reason she had not taken a knife and caused extreme mayhem when she had been so rudly 'summoned' along with the others.

Eyes turned upon her and, though she did not look at them, she knew they were regarding her. She would have been dead long ago if she had not been able to tell when an enemy's gaze held her in it's sight.

Flicking her wrist, a dagger thrust out of her sleeve and into her hand. It was a device that she had had specially made by a steelsmith whose work was in highest regard. It gave her a split second advantage over whomever she wished to introduce her blade to and it had served her well in the past.

Now she took the dagger and turned it, the bright, shiny edge catching her eye and helping her to hone into her own thoughts as she considered the proposal before her.

Toying with the sharp, edge she envisoned what she could do with the amount promised as well as the power that had only been hinted at. A smile flickered across her face.

Decision made, she suddenly thrust the dagger back into place beneath the sleeve of her tunic and strode over to the desk, grabbing the quill from it and writing her name on the contract in bold lettering.

Throwing down the quill, she looked at the men, her dark eyes even darker.

"If I do this and what was promised me is not given...than you shall know of my displeasure." She said in a cold, emotionless voice before turning on her heel and striding to the door.

Novachok "Nova" Fanril

I scanned the near darkened streets from under the hood of my cloak. This was a pretty rough part of town and it wouldn't do to get robbed. I was still a bit hazy after last nights carousing with some fellows I had met by the docks. By Gods those sailors could drink.

As we had been stumbling from one bar to the next, I happened upon an old street hag. She was in need of some coins and agreed to tell me my fortune for a few silvers. The woman said some strange things but she was old and probably a bit touched in the head. I flipped her a coin and continued on with my new friends, singing and stumbling our way down the back alleys, but I couldn't get the things the tramp had said out of my mind. Shortly before I had passed out, I made the decision to follow up on the old hags strange insights. The way I saw it, the instructions she had given me lead me to a tavern. At worst, I would begin my nights festivities here. But if the old hag wasn't as senile as I thought, well, we'd see what came of it.

So here I was. I glanced across the street to the sign bearing three ale mugs. "The Triple Flaggon" I said to myself. It looked like the kind of place where they shamelessly watered the ale and you had to keep a tight grip on your money purse, less it wander away. "No use standing out here all night" I said to myself. As I started across the street I muttered a few words and instantly I appeared to be a bit taller and much more handsome. I rarely went out looking like myself. I had found that it was better for people not to be able to recognize me in case later if there was trouble.

I pushed my way in the door and scanned the room. Instantly I noticed two strikingly beautiful women conversing with a man who had green skin. There was something eye catching about the scene. One of the women was a bit stocky but with luscious curves. She had a dangerous air about her that I had always found intriguing. The other appeared to be a bit more frail, an elf no doubt. But there was that subtle delicate beauty in her that reminded me of my mother. Could one of them be the person I was to meet? There were a few other scattered patrons and a rather haggerd looking barkeep behind the bar. I decided not to force my hand so I found a table near the back in the corner so I could see the entire room and watch the door. I sat down with my back to the wall, ordered some ale from the comely bar maid and watched to see how the night would unfold.

Cali

I looked at the elvin maid that sat down with us- she was rather pretty. Had me beat anyway. Twas a sad day when an elf had better cleavage then I did, I thought with a rueful grin. Thing had no hips though, I consoled myself.
Smiling at her, I introduced myself polietly, "I'm Calixte Mercer, but you can call me Cali."
I waved to the tavern girl. "Oy, lass, a fire's whisky for me, 'nother round for the good sir on me of course, and whatever the Elf mistress is drinking, probably cider I'd wager."
The girl glared at me till I flipped her a couple of coins and brushed my hair back revealing an earing attatched to a cuff. From the earring dangled a single onyx feather, on the cuff was etched a half star, the symbols of the Guild of the Rouge Queen. We were a noble lot, amoung rouges, so to speak. Assassins, trapspringers for hire, occasionally body guards, that sort of thing. To be one required a lot of time and effort. Even so far from home as this little town was, Rouge Queen memebers were respected.
The girl brought our drinks with a cursty and left.
"Now then, who might you be?"

Yrismir

Yrismir, or as he had taken being called, Yris, turned his glass over when the drinks were poured. It was most out of character for him to refuse a drink, especially on another's coin. He lifted his head, glancing at the one who had spoken second first.

Elf. He squinted, and turned to the one who Had spoken first. She was introducing herself. He glanced over her, and grunted. "A Rouge Queen, are ya, Cali?"

He pulled himself up into a sitting position, and took a deep breath. He leaned back, looking over her ass. "Aye, I'm the drunk bastard the Gods themselves guided you too. And no, you may not buy me a drink, unless you plan on following along a drunken mix of elvish and orcish tongues. THough, if you're interested, I've got a room upstairs and we could enjoy some pleasure after the business is through?"

He pulled himself up tall with a groan. He straightened his robes, and gave Cali his most charming smile. He sat down again, turning away from the bar, he glanced over at the elf. "Now, who are you that the Gods have sent to the poor drunkard of a Wizard-For-Hire Yris?"

Cali

I laughed delightedly. A gent who wasn't going to get sopping drunk before spilling information- a rarity for me. He was kind of cute too, in an older, greener then usual sort of way.
"I have the honor of being a member of the Guild of the Rouge Queen, a Countess by our rankings," I said with a smile, bowing my head at the guild's name. I smiled at his invitation. "I've my own room a few streets over but who knows what the night may bring, Yris."
The name felt odd as I said it, but then mine wasn't quite normal either, I wasn't one to throw stones.
I listened to him quary the forest elf. She didn't look too comfy in this mess of a bar.

The Barkeep watched as his daughter bought out the drinks, it seemed the green man was bringing in a lot of buisness today.. Odd. WEll he was happy he'd be happy this month that was for sure ..

Nina pulled finish passing out the drinks and smiled sweetly at the green skinned man. He was so wodnerful deispite his gruff demeaner and odd uneasy feel. He was still the nicest most gentlemanly man she'd ever met.

As always this seemed to be what she decided a night that had business it wasnt as if people didnt come to the tavern just that it was always a few.. Today seemed a nice change of pace .. the lady from the Guild was here.. people from the guild always had a tendency to get things exciting around them .. when they showed up

She didnt really understand the talk that elvin woman seemed to be discusing with the man perhaps it was some sort of story.. or play they were playing out.. it seemed odd that if it was serious they would be discussing it so loudly.

She then sauntered over to the handsome fellow at the back of the taver and smiled, "Is there anything that you'll be wantin' kind sir?"

Yrismir

He turned, grinning, to Cali. He would have grabbed a firm handful of her ass, but a Countess of the Rouge Queen,...well, the Rouge Queen weren't know for letting themselves be manhandled.

"Oh well, lass. If ya don't take me up on my offer, it's your loss. So, anyway, once our lovely elven lass introduces herself, we can sit and wait for the others. Four or five. Most likely four. I'd prefer five, but it isn't my choice to make. Mother still has a vow of service from me, I'm afraid."

Cali

"Mayhap I shall," I said evasively with a smile. He apparently thought a Countess within the RQ was important- we weren't, not that much anyway. Lowest level of the higher circle- little managment assigned, few orders given to. All the benefits except pay, none of the management crap- suited me just fine. Okay the "initiation" hadn't but that's another tale.
"So, Yris, what are we here? Apparently you know perhaps what I am? Even I'm not sure of that these days."

Yrismir

Yris grunted, and shook his head as he stood up. "Lady, I'm not my Mother, and I hope she'll let me go without ever trying. Likely though, now that she's put my boots to this path, she expects me to go through with it and take up the throne she left vacant."

He grunted, and led the ladies over to a table. He pulled back the cahirs for them, one on each side of him, and held out and outstretched arm. His staff sailed over from where it had been leaning, smooth wood slamming into his palm. His finger wrapped around it, and the aura of evil took effect. He sat down, and sighed.

"I really don't want to go through this more than once, but here's the long and the short of it: You've been chosen to risk life and limb, bent under great pressure and against the darkest forces of evil, to go act like an idiot on a scavenger hunt for the Gods, and if you win, You get to be immortal for a millenia. If you loose, the world is consumed in torment and hellfire."

He grunted. "I know, not happy thoughts. But I suggest you don't back out. It's a cooperative efforts between seven people. I'll technically be in the lead, but that's only because I have the only clue of any of us how to find the little items the Gods have strewn about the world to screw with us. In case you haven't figured it out: I'm not to keen on the idea, myself."

Cali

"Well, now I see why you hit on a gal before spilling the beans," I said with a sigh. "I figured there'd be some crazy thing I'd have to do for the information but this is a bit much... I'm not keen on being immortal. But where there's God's items, there tends to be Gods' treasures so I suppose it won't be a total waste."
I touched a hand to the charm on my necklace, the other going to my Fire Whip. "I'm in- always wanted to have a grand adventure, the kind people tell thier kids about. Thats a kind of immortality all its own, you know. Darja the Mirge may not have been a great person, but I've heard of his exploits since I was a rugrat.
"Besides- hanging out with green-skinned royalty- never done that before. I rather like the idea."

"Is there anything that you'll be wantin' kind sir?" I heard the barmaid ask. I looked her over. She was attractive in a plain sort of way. Her dress was simple but did little to hide the firm curves that come with youth. I could think of several things I was wanting, but I was not so blind to have missed her constant eyeing of the green man. In fact, she had looked a bit perturbed when the two stunning ladies had both come in and sat down with him.

"The green man and his guests," I replied "who are they?"

She quickly glanced over her shoulder at the table where the threesome now sat. "His name is Yrismir," she began "he's been staying here in a room upstairs. I'm afraid I don't know much about him other than he's waiting for some people to join him. This is the first time I've seen his...friends in here." There was venom in her voice when she used the word "friends".

"I did notice the one he's ogling over wears an earring of a member of the Guild of the Rouge Queen. Probably just a harlot who stole it from a real member while they were unconcious or the like" she said, knowing it couldn't be true. To commit an act of treachery such as that would bring endless torment at the hands of the guilds "interogators".

I could almost feel her seething inside and was barely able to supress a grin. She was enthralled with this Yrismir, probably her first love. As she turned to leave, I began to wonder if perhaps one of the women with this Yrismir was the one I sought. I sure hoped so. I decided to wait a bit longer and see if anyone else came in. I didn't want to force my hand.

While I waited I decided to have a bit of fun. There was a not unattractive couple sitting close to the fire place. The lady breasts seemed to be trying to burst out of her blouse. I wiggled my fingers and mumbled a few words and suddenly there was a large spider, about half the size of a mans fist, propped right upon her left breast. The man noticed it immediatley and when the woman looked down she shrieked in horror. The man attempted to swat at it, forcing the spider to scurry for cover, running right down her open neckline, just like it was supposed to.

Having been alerted by the shriek, the entire tavern was now focused on the couple. If anyone had stopped to think they would have realized how impossible it would be for a spider of that size to fit in there. Fortunately, no one noticed. The woman began tearing the blouse off exposing two off the most voluptous breast I have ever witnessed. I wiggled my finger again, making the spider dissapear.

The man, trying to save his companions honor tried vainly to cover her buxom chest but for all his effort managed to do little more than feel her up. She quickly pulled her blouse back in place and the couple quickly left.

I grinned as I tipped my ale back, finishing off the last drops. As I looked back up, I noticed that all the patrons had gone back to to their own ale...except this Yrismir and his two companions. They were studying me intently, like they knew I was the culprit.

"How could they know?" I thought to myself. I might as well introduce myself. I rose and made my way to their table plotting out the quickest rout to the door, just in case.

The elven woman spoke first, her voice lilting and beautiful, making my heart flutter "Cute joke." she said with amusment in her eyes. She was truly a lovely creature. Even if she wasn't the woman I sought I'd be more than happy to entertain her for a few nights.

"I've found it to be one of the easiest ways to get a woman undressed." I replied with a smirk. "The name is Novachok Fanril, but I just go by Nova. Mind if I join you folks?" I asked.

Yrismir

Yrismir slid his hand done his staff. With one quick motion, he brought it over the bar, swinging it towards the illusionsists head in a firm movement. With any luck, it would smack him in the head and fill him with a sense of dread.

After swinging it he let it slip through his fingers, it's butt hitting the floor with an audible thunk. "Don't do that. I happen to quite like this place, and I don't want some ass driving off all the customers. And let me ask you this, why are you here?"

He glanced at the other two. "Similar question: What made you ladies decide to come here? I need this information."

Trianna

OOC: Sgt, that was a great first post. But, one rule of thumb is that you don't speak for other's actions or what they will say unless they are NPCs. For further reference Trianna would not be amused by that joke. Of everyone who is going to gather she would probably be the one most likely to be dubbed Miss Gooddy Two Shoes.)

IC: Trianna had taken in the information and was processing it, not exactly ignoring the quesitons asked, simply waiting for when she felt was the right time. The elvin maid did little that she did not feel was right and speaking was one of those included in that list.

She was about to speak when a commotion broke into her unspoken end of the conversation. Turning around, she looked at the couple who were having such troubles and could feel the threads of magic shimmer between them and the source. It was well known that elves had been immersed in magic from almost the beginning of existence and they had lived longer than almost any race existing upon the world. The unicorns and other creatures of pure magic were the exception to that.

Her eyes followed the man as he approached them, not waveing for a moment. When he had reached their table, she said in an even voice that held no amusement,"Cute joke." His answer did nothing to change her opinion of it.

Moving quickly to duck, her skills and instinct alert as always, she moved out of the way as the green skinned man's staff connected to the newcomers head and she bit back a sigh.

This was the company that the god's had sent her to join? How could something so beautiful as a unicorn have guided her here to this place and time to deal with such as these?

Then she chided herself. It was not for her to judge either her fellow companions nor the gods. She was being presumptuous and her father would have taken her to task for that.

"My name is Trianna," She said breaking into the conversation at that point,"I am a ranger by trade, a forest elf by birth. I was summoned by one of my people's most sacred of magical animals. The unicorn to come here and contact a green skinned man who I assumed to by yourself, Master Yrismir. From there I was to follow your instructions so that I could complete the task that they wished me to complete."

Her brow furrowed as she pushed a stray trendil of dark hair behind her ear.

"In truth, I am not happy about the circumstances surrounding the task but I will not question the god's nor their purposes. And if their ultimate goal is to grant immortality than it is something that they feel must be done in order to preserve the world. And I will except it though I do not know what I have done to deserve that honor."

Her head lifted as she heard an eerie howling outside of the inn and she sighed with a slight smile.

"I know that howl, it is a long time companion of mine. It seems he has followed me on my quest though I did not seek his aide. Forgive me but I must see to him."

Rising, she was about to exit the inn when a large bundle of grey fur burst through the door knocking down the patron that had been about to go out of it and barrelling toward their table only to skid to a stop in front of Trianna, the wolf's haunches tight and ready to spring and his teeth bared as he growled low in his chest at the two men so close to her.

Putting a hand upon his head, Trianna spoke quickly and quietly in elvin to him and he gave each man one last long look before settling down at her feet.

"I fear the commotion led him to think I was in trouble. Again, I apologize. He is a bit...over protective of me at times."

The barkeeps eyes popped out of his head wondering how a woman could shriek as loud as that lady did, then when started to tear her own clothes off, well it was a pity there werent men around .. he would have got buisness for that he was sure of it..

Sadly the couple left and the tavern was once again quiet withteh green man's companions added by one.. a fellow .. well at least he knew the green man was sharing..

Nina clenched her fists into her skirts.. her face shined a bright red. How could a woman just tear her clothes off like that .. silly truly silly.. THis was why she thought most women oogling men that werent worthy ... she was probably some garlot anyway..

she sashayed back to the bar waiting to see if anyone else showed up.

Cali

"Nice to meet you Trianna," I said with a smile. "I've not met many forest elves before... and that's the largest wolf I've ever seen. Is he safe? Long as no one messes with you?"
She gave her response and I nodded.
Turning to the new man, I scowled. "It is not nice to make a lady disrobe so you may get your jollies off on it. Especailly in such a manner! Who was your teacher, mageling? Surely you know better then to cause such problems in a tavern not your own!?! You've driven away buisness from this establishment without apparant provocation. Remember- all things will come back to you in the end, one way or another."

Yrismir

Yris arched an eyebrow at the elf. "Master Yrismir? I haven't heard that in a long time. And I'm not royalty." He said, turning his head to Cali. He smiled at her.

"The best I was was a general, now my fellows would say it was time for me to rise up, after all, she had been my mother, though only by adoption. But still, I've gotten strange letter from them for a while. So, she was led here by a unicorn, okay. Ho wabout you, Cali? Then once our young illusionists acts mature and tells us who sent him, he can decide if he, too, is a pawn of the Gods."

Enter Ramas

I stepped off of the gang plank of the Whisper and onto the docks. Even though I had wrapped myself beneath my dark navy cloak, I must of stood out something terrible. The longsword at my side clattered against my suit of half-plate and sailors didn't wear half plate. I drew looks of curiousity as I strolled towards the city. I wasn't sure where to go exactly, but I had the name of the tavern I needed so it would be only a matter of time before I found someone who knew how to get me to it.

I approached a young girl selling flowers. I purchased one before asking her for directions.

"The Triple Flaggen is down this street and to yer left, sir." She beemed. I gave her another two gold coins and continued.

I found it easily enough. I pushed the door open to the tavern and stepped through, removing the hood of my cloak. I gazed around the room, looking for the ones that Lan had mentioned. A barmaid, elven, approached him.

"What can I get for you?" she asked.

"Nothing right now, I'm just looking for some......friends," I said. Truthfully, I didn't know if they were friends. I trusted Lan's guidence though. Lan had pointed mehere and now I was looking for six others to join me. I wasn't sure if Lan had meant six specific others or if I was to recruit any six I felt that could help me. I felt more than confident I could find this girl and protect her by myself. I hadn't needed any support on the last couple of missions Lan sent me on. I had grown in power so much since I trained with Lan after my brother killed Jasmine. He took me in and helped me overcome my grief by letting me know that I could carrying on the legacy he was going to grant to Jasmine. I could only hope that the burden he placed on me wasn't more than I could handle. Sigh, maybe I did need help or this.

"Lady," I asked the bar maid, "have there been any other adventurers in here today?"

"Sure has. That group over there," she pointed to a group of four. I glanced towards them. I gave the bar maid a few coins for her time before approaching the crowd.

"Pardon the interruption," I said as indeed interrupted the conversation they were sharing, "but I believe that you four are who I have been searching for."

I awaited their reactions.

Trianna

Trianna reached down to scratch the wolf behind the ears, a smile of affection on her face as he lifted his head so that she could reach the places where he needed to be scratched.

"Oh, indeed," She said answering Cali's question,"Growls would not hurt anyone unless he thought them a danger to me. It was my pleasure to rescue him from an early death as a pup when his mother and siblings had perished and he seems to think he owes me a lifetime of protection in return. Though I have told him countless times that it is not necessary."

Giving one final scratch, she turns her attention to her new companions.

"I do not usually name those creatures who chose to befriend me but, as he was not wont to leave my side and I became tired of calling him "Wolf' and 'You There', I asked for and recieved his permission to address him with a given name. It has worked well for us so far."

Nodding at Cali's mention of not having met forest elves before she replied. "Indeed, I have met few outside my own clan and even fewer outside the elvin race. Only those that have taken a notion to visit the elvin city for wares and only a few times as most of our clan only go to the city once a month for supplies we cannot gather in our own forest."

To Yris, she raises an eyebrow and states,"I apologize if I have saddled you with an unwanted title, Sir. But I do not know the ranking of those outside of the elvin lands. What do each of you deem to be appropriate to be addressed by?"

Then to the newcomer, she gives a small smile. "Come and sit. If you were sent by the gods than they have their purposes. First impressions can be overcome with knowlege if given freely."

Trianna

OOC: Opps must have posted about the same time as you Geko and missed your entrance.

IC: Growl's reaction to the new male was instantaneous and, though he did not move from the position at her feet, his head on his forpaws, a low growl came from deep within his chest to warn the newcomer that Trianna was not alone and was, indeed, well protected. Even if her skill with the bow and arrow as not enough to ensure that protection.

Hushing the wolf with a few elvin words once again, she looked at the man in the armor and nodded.

"That could be, Sir Knight," She said, assuming his rank from his dress,"What exactly were you looking for? And were you sent or did you come on your own?"

Yrismir

Yris glanced up at the Knight. And recognition slammed into him. He rocked back, and stood up, shaking his head as he grabbed the man with his free arm, pointing at a chair.

"Finally! By the armor, you look to be a knight. If you happed to know a man by the name of Lan, then we are most certainly the ones you are looking for. In fact, here."

He sat down, and pulled a scrap of paper from one of his beltpouches. He squinted at the scrawled writing. "I'm looking for A Knight who knew Lan, male. A girl with white hair, a man with many rings, a girl who's one with the land, someone who can blend with the trees,...and,..."

He squinted, and then sat back, pushing the bit of paper back where it came from. "And a human - arrogant and unruly." He glanced at Cali. "You're obvious enough, as should be our knight friend."

He turned to the elf, and leaned his Staff of Evil against the table, letting go so that it's aura would weaken. He smiled, and reached a hand halfway out to the wolf, leaving his empty palm towards it as he looked at the elf.

"Wolves are great animals. Probably none as loyal or as majestic in the world. And as for title, Yris will suit me just fine. I think the Elf King gave me some elven title, but I am not in the mood to try and remember it."

Trianna

Growls looked at the offered hand and then up to Trianna as if asking if she deemed the man alright. With an almost imperceptable nod, she let him know that these were companions...perhaps even friends and the large canine moved his head over to be scratched by Yris, his pleasure at the attention noticible.

Trianna looked at him startled when he mentioned titles from the elvin king.

"Indeed," She said her eyes wide,"To be given a title by our king, especially one not of the race, is an honor indeed. I would love to hear what deed you mangaged in order for His Highness to be so impressed with you that he would bestow such a coveted thing. Rarely does he do it even for those of us born to the land. It must have been something very magnificent indeed."

Nina eyed the new commer, clanking in plate mail.. shaking her head.. you would think aht atwould be so uncomfortable wearing that all the time.

She walked over to the table, 'would anyone of you like a drink or anything else??"

She smiled shyly at Yris. Her face turning bright red in the process.

After taking the orders.. she left to get them, and then came came and served them.

The Barkeep watched his daughter Nina and smiled to himself .. he had made more today than he had all week.
