Thought I would repost the OOC & Casting Call to see if anyone would be interested this time around ...

Okies, background info / intro posting is this:


The firm's building practically vibrated with the tension and gossip. For the past week or so the entire staff had seemed caught up in the whirlwind of excitement surrounding the mysterious circumstances.

Johnson, Weaver, and Pitt were more than just a distinguished lawyer firm. They were one the nation's premier persecutors in international insurance fraud - an industry that most people rarely thought of, and yet a booming one indeed.

Everyone knew that the small firm flourished primarily because of its team of crack investigators - top PIs who travelled the globe and worked industriously on behalf of their employers, digging up information and pictures, confessions and interviews most would have simply overlooked.

Below the senior partners, Johnson Weaver and Pitt, there was also a handful of senior staff members who supported the senior lawyers. There were junior staff and junior lawyers, including several of the partners' sons, and then there was the investigative team.

Aside from the hiring of Lili as a 'progressive' intern to work with them two years ago, the staff in the investigative squad had altered very little - new secretaries or receptionists about being the extent of it.

That's why the firm was in such an uproar - the partners had finally decided to take on another PI. The event was unprecedented, but it was also true the firm was being swamped with a lot more work then they had handled five years ago.

Lili sat in the corner office, perched on the edge of the massive, walnut desk that she had until a few weeks ago envisioned as being hers.

She had simply been straightening things up - making sure the file cabinets were empty and the desk stocked with supplies, everything clean and well-aired out - when reverie had caught her. Her hands idly ran over the dark, rich wood and the dark green leather blotter on it almost caressingly as she gazed out the picture window to the metropolis skyline.

Giving a wistful sigh, she slowly stood up, straightening on her almost absurdly tall platforms and tugging down her short pin-striped suit before tugging at the matching jacket and the tight button-up blouse she wore beneath it. She barely restrained herself from stamping a foot in irritation and frustration at what she viewed as the destruction of her hopes and ambitions as she whirled to stomp out of the office -

And noticed a man standing in the doorway. He was watching her with darkly glittering eyes and she abruptly took a deep breath and straightened, erasing the frown from her face and instead blushing slightly under that intense gaze. She noticed the box he held under one hand and stepped hesitantly forward.

"Uh, hello, welcome to Johnson, Weaver, and Pitt. I'm Lillith Skiles, the intern for this department - but most just call me Lili. Can I take that for you?" she rushed through the words in a quick breath, extending a hand to shake his or to take his box or maybe both, her wide eyes flitting up nervously to his face...

General Character Info:
Lili has an investigative degree from the local college, however she was taken on as an intern at the firm of Johnson, Weaver and Pitt to learn the ropes from their investigative team and hopefully join it.

Physically, Lili is a small thing with some obvious asian blood. Standing about 5'3, she measures 36D-28-34 and has a sweeping curtain of ebony hair that, when down, brushes against her rounded hips.

Gerald Weaver

Gerald Wright is one of three Senior Partners. He is roguishly attractive. He is considered by most to be attractive with a killer smile. Most say he is very charismatic. He stands 6'3" and is in his late 40's. He has a B.S. from Harvard and a Masters from USC.
His parents were founders of Shail Toys and left him with several very nice trust funds and property.

His change of school was based on his girlfriend at that time taking a job in California. It ended up she was with him for his money. He came home early from a cancelled class one day to find his girlfriend in bed with two other men. This seems to have hardened his resolve for love and made him very much a gigilo of sorts.

He was hired at Johnson and Pitt right after college. He was a well sought after graduate but ended up taking a job at this relatively small firm. His friends always wondered what made him do it.

He quickly moved up the corporate ladder and at the age of 32 was offered a partnership at the firm. Not much is really known about Gerald. He is very friendly to all of the associates and seems to get along very well with the female of the office.

He has his eyes on a certain girl at the moment. Lilith Skiles is her name. She was recently up for promotion, but the Partners felt that she was not quite ready for such a step. Gerald felt it might be better to be at the bottom of the chain, it could make her very hungry for shots at promotion.

Hey, I would love to join your thread but I find myself in a bit of a bind. I would only be available to play for about 2 or 3 weeks tops before taking an extended leave due to personal stuff. Namely, my ass is being shipped to South Carolina to Fort Jackson for Army Training. So, if your still ok with me being apart of this, I will try and max out what lil time I have. Thanks a ton and I await your reply.

IZee has worked with law firms across the country. His reputation for finding even the remotest threads of evidence has bought him into contact with Johnson Weaver and Pitt.

Depending on the case IZee can be found in a thousand dollar suit or threadbare cast offs and he seems equally at home in each. He's 6'2, has dark hair, blue eyes and the plain unsurprising features of a man who can blend to fit with almost any situation.


Looking forward to seeing what develops...

If it works in to the story, I would be interested in playing a guy running a big insurance fraud ring. He is a multi-milliner, has mob connections, is considered armed and dangerous, has body guards, and lives on a secluded estate, lives in another country like the Bahamas or something. That’s why the authorities can get to him. He is considered as one of the big players in the insurance fraud industry. One could say that he has only one weakness, beautiful young women!

I see no reason why it can't work - heck, it gives us a villain to gear plot towards - thanks!

Caitlyn
Age 26

Caitlyn is 5'8", around 135 lbs, with a full chest. Her deep auburn hair falls in shiny waves halfway down her back, and she favors fashionable mid-thigh dresses that show off her long toned legs.

Caitlyn used to work as an executive at a large insurance company. Her boss however was involved in some under the table dealings which was soon discovered and it caused a huge shake up within her division. Her boss was fired, and she and several others were thrown to he curb as well, though they proclaimed their innocence.

With bills and a new house to pay for, Caitlyn was desperate for a job. She was also angry, very angry with what she felt was an unjust situation. Her former boss, having liked her quite a bit, had given her the name and number of a man she could call if she found herself in need of work. Unable to find a job quickly that paid what she needed, she found herself calling him against her better judgement. It wasn't long before her bills were paid again and she found herself working on the opposite side of the insurance business... within a rather large scale insurance fraud ring. She normally posed as a client, the one who dealt with the lawyers and investigators a large portion of the time, and filed the initial claims. Glancing at the file she held in her hand, she began to familiarize herself with the newest firm she'd be filing a claim with... Johnson, Weaver, and Pitt.

I would like to play an investigator. I will post a character later.

Roger Raines (played by Belic)

Roger Raines
Roger is an freelance investigator. He has fallen on hard times as of late and has been forced to take a job with one of the big boys. His dress is completely different from those that he works around. He wears old, faded blue jeans, a fade red button-up shirt and a oily looking duster. His face is covered in about three days worth of beard growth and his piercing blue eyes seem to stare right through you. His appearance seems to suit him, although his slight size of 5'8" doesn't seem to instill much intimidation.

Reggie is 6'2", and about 170 lbs. He has chocolate-colored skin and an athletic build. He has dark brown eyes and a shaved head. He has been an investigator for the firm fr years now, and specializes in injury cases. He is known for his rather unorthodox methods for proving fraudulent injuries, especially with women. He dresses very casually, unless the occasion calls for more formal wear.

Ok, here is my character, hope she fits in.

Age: 25

Eva is a student at the law school in town and has recently been hired on as a legal intern at Johnson, Weaver, and Pitt. This is only her second week and she is still a little nervous about how good of a job she is doing.
She is 5'5" and about 118 lbs. She has wavy dark red hair that falls a few inches past her shoulders.

Ok, I got my character. It's a miracle!


Jackson Pitt

6'2" with slicked back black hair and ice blue-gray eyes
180 pounds and always dressed in a fine black tailored suit
He was well liked but people were cautious, their was something behind his smile and eyes. Something that wasn't quite right, something a lil bit detached. It was his edge, it was what made him the Pittbull.


From the blue collar background of an Italian mason father and a secretary Irish mother, Jackson group up in the mix of everything that was Boston. He knew that everything he would ever want he would have to earn, he would have to work hard to get into college. So he worked his ass off in high school and got into Penn State on scholarships, all the while working at a law firm as an intern. It took a while but he graduated and did his law school at the small Roger Willams University in Rhode Island, a small school with an amazing reputation for turning out top notch lawyers. He got through that and proceeded to work hard for the next 15 years, a court-room junkey for small firms, working for anyone that would give him trial time. It eventually paid off when he was invited to start a firm with a pair of friends, Weaver and Johnson, possibly the only guys tougher then him. It was the three of them against the world and they built their firm from the group up.

As one of the 3 partners, Jackson had a certain amount of mystery surrounding him. There was only 2 things really known about him and both were fodder for rumors. Jackson was nicknamed "The Pittbull" for his style in the courtroom, vicious, pacing about, attacking opposing witnesses like a peice of meat. His record was impeciable and could smell bullshit a mile away, that's why he was a partner and feared in courtrooms around the Nation.

The other rumor about him was the way he went through women, namely that he treated women like toys. So many women, so little time to indulge in all the fleshy delights. He didn't mind the reputation either, in fact he carried it like a badge of honor and he completed it with a wicked smile. Another day, another event, another woman. Jackson lived fast and feasted on flesh like it was going out of style.
