Why do you want a posse formed on the poetry board about home schooling? I read the thread and I don't think anyone is trying to keep their kids away from "people like us." Do you have kids?

I'm trying to get my kid an education that I can't seem to get him through the public school system.

I have 2 children. One is learning and doing quite well in public school.. the other one isn't.

Windchyme, it's your right to question home schooling but it would be better to do it where that discussion is taking place on GB. We're mostly here to talk poetry. I say mostly, because we're not always successful.

It was my first mod thread move but perhaps I was too hasty. I see that LukkyKnight added some poetry to the thread.

Kelly, I also have an autistic child. She's 4 and getting some help in the public school system, but I have to work with her at home too.

I'm not out of work. I'm on disability. There was an... um... accident during a job, and now if I'm caught with my mouth open, it's back to work.
