Stirring up new threads?

It seems like the frequency of new threads showing up has been really slow for a while. Maybe we need some kind of theme thing, or a competition or something, to stir up some activity.

Any ideas, anyone?

If we're all fresh out, at least maybe we can share our malaise and ennui in a pleasant and companionable way. Are other authors as dismayed as I?

It's too bad there hasn't been a new-stories update in so long. That would help.

In the meantime, I'm going through my favorite authors and looking to see if I get inspired to contribute. I just added one to SlidingInSilk's Lady Canterly's Castle, and I hope it'll be approved soon.

Perhaps I need a little inspirational music. Hmmmm... maybe K. D. Lang singing My Chatelaine? (No, no, I'm not trolling... I expect there's quite a variety of "music to write Chyoo threads by")

Lack of Updates.

My thoughts...

I think the lack of new threads come from the lack of a site update. I think a lot of people are sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting to see what the fate of Chyoo is going to be. I mean, it could come to an end. I am wondering that myself. Have we been abandoned? Maybe the end is coming. Or maybe we'll get a bigger and better Chyoo. I haven't written anything new forever and I think I will hold off until I see something happen with the site.

But, while I am here, why not contribute to this thread. I had a dream and it turns out it would be a great story. Here's what it's about.

A realitiy TV show (I know it's been done to death) but one where people live in a house like Big Brother and they compete in sex games and stuff. People get voted out of the house and all. I thought it might be interesting. What do you guys think?

I like the idea. It would be complex to write because of the number of characters but it would be fun!

I agree with Z, it seems there is a real lack of interest right now. I have to admit I have been off of my usual pace, but that is because of work rather than anything else.

An update once in a while would not hurt anything, that is for certain.

So, now we've been updated (well, a little), and my thread Tease, Taunt, and Flicker Around The Orgy for Lady Canterly's Castle was approved!

Let's get writing!
