Do you consider a man to be shallow for rejecting a woman because of her weight?

Is it shallow when a woman rejects a man for being too short?

Please discuss.

Only if you have a brain!

I'm tempted to wager you on who'll be the first to come in here and trip the gender-based mutation of Godwin's Law.

I prefer men who are tall say in the range of 6'0 to 6'4 but I am certainly not going to date a man just cause hes short.......hell he might be the one.

If a man chooses not to date me cause I am on the "portly" side then its HIS loss not mine!!

:D

Fair enough MsTexas. If the guy was 5'3 though could he ever be 'the one' however?

I'm 5'9" myself and have been passed up by several women for not being tall enough. Even though some were 1 or 2 inches shorter than I! LOL

Good morning! Did you know a recent article implied guys should consider looking for love in Texas?

G'lord haven't you done this before?

Did some chick recently turn you down, using the premise that you're too short? Because, I gotta tell ya, I doubt that was the only reason.

Since you never answered my question on the step parent thread I'll ask it here again. (And I'm sure you read it, you can't help but not to go and read any responses you have on any of your threads or to continually bump them.)

Did he adopt his stepkids or not?

Well I guess that would depend on how you define "the one". Hes personality and attitude about things and so on will determine that dont you think........being 5'4, I do have to tell you that I have dated more men under 6'0 then I have over.

Well you used the term 'the one' so you define it ;)

To illustrate, explain why it is you would prefer a man 6'0"+ tall...

Do you really have that amout of time for me to define what being "the one" is to me? That is some very indepth information, not saying that its a long list but certainly some things about being "the one" are not needed....then there are things that are a must.

Your tryin to get me in trouble here arent you? You want me to explain too much!! ;)

Yes, my point exactly, and I'll make no apologies for it.

And yes, it's B.S. and hipocritical to think a man shallow for his preference but to blindly accept a woman's preference as a need or preference.

Next time, take the time to read. Please. Failing to read a thread before launching into a blind and inaccurate personal attack makes you look like a certified rocket scientist (<-- sarcasm for the Zipmen among us) by Lit standards.

"IIRC he did."

Is this where you say you cannot understand me when I speak in plain English?

True, and I'm gonna miss my bus to work, lol.

Just describe how it feels to be held by a man much taller than you...

5'11". And Texas is officially now on my list!

Hey Zamdrist - I'm sure we all have preferences. But the inflexibility of some is excused, while the inflexibility of others is flatly condemned.

I am running late as well.

I will respond later here if not directly with you :D

Well we'll never see good reading comprehension skills from you or kitty, so what else is new?

You know what's really funny, everyone here misreads a post or misses a word now and then. And we all just admit it and move on with the discussion.

You're one of the only idiots that won't admit you've read something wrong and even worse, would rather continue to argue some new point rather than just fess up. All anyone has to do is read the Nature is evil thread tosee 13 pages of examples.

Ididot.

Idiot.

Zip, what a waste of more than 70 words when the last one would suffice!

In that sentence you have defined "idiot" in a way that pegs a lot of people - starting with kitty, and also including her friends, who are laughing with her in an attempt to cover up for her reading problem which occurred not once, but twice in just a single post. Note that kitty has yet to admit her error.

And you never admitted having a reading problem, either. You just made excuses.

Next time please try again to define idiocy in a way that defines my actions without convicting so many others, including yourself.
