She was an artist

She ws one of the only true artists I've ever known. Everything she did was artful. She thought art. She breathed art. She saw art all around her. Sometimes you'd look at her, and see a dreamy expression on her face. And you knew she was off in another world. One of colors and shapes and forms. And you could tell it was beautiful. She wasn't one of those doom and gloom kind of artists. She was a happy-go-lucky kind of girl. She saw beauty. And she created beauty. She had vision. The kind of vision most of us yearn for. And she was a true friend. My friend. A friend to many beside myself. I know of no one who disliked her. She was kind and compassionate and loyal. A little country girl, she once said she believed people were good, and she tried to treat them accordingly. She succeeded very well.

Sadly, this wonderfully naive, beautiful girl left this world today, September 25, 2003. Her death was anything but beautiful. I only hope she has found some eternal beauty that will equal what she imparted to those of us who knew and loved her.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss (and the world's loss), susie. *hugs*

Sorry for your loss Susie.:rose:

It would seem that the loss of your friend is a loss to us all. To know such a person makes us better.

Knowing such a person as your dear friend often makes me wonder if maybe we aren't the naive ones.

It was a great tribute to her goodness that she could call you a true friend. I sorrow for her passing and mourn her with you.

Just remember, Susie, every time you see art, wherever you find it, she'll be watching with you and helping you see it better.

<hug>

I offer my condolences…

…but I would like to know a little more about her.

How young was she? How did it happen?

Please forgive my ignorance.

Sorry susie, really am. We may have fun, but I am grieving for you. Her art remains, but she is probably in a far greater place. No cares, no worries, and who knows, the gods may be using her art to make this place we live in a more beautiful place. Remember her in the next sunset or sunrise you witness. Luv to you, and hang in there girl.:rose:

Those things she looked at and lost herself in, the clouds, the flowers, the trees........she is part of that now.

Life's demands don't stop her from painting anymore and her art supplies never run out.

Look for her in the clouds, in the flowers, see her in the trees......she is everywhere now, surrounding you. On those moments when you don't feel so strong she will be the gentle breeze of wing beats you feel as you find you can go on.

Rejoice in the time you had with her, she sounds like one heck of a lady.

You guys never cease to amaze me. Thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes.
