A growl of frustration emits from under the control panel as Kadan hears the navigators comments,"Ya know you could go chart something or exercise or get laid, instead of calling down to me, no that ain't it.." a string of curses follows the chief engineers comments and the the sound of something very heavy striking metal and the whole control panel flickers and then starts working properly.
A cry of success fills the control panels belly and she slowly floats out from under it on a antigrav board. Sitting up Kadan's left cheek is smeared with green grease and she smirks up at the kid they had found in the hold,"Yeah good thing about machines you smack around a bit and they always work." Looking up she points to Crystal,"One more spilt kalaza juice on my control panel and I am going to turn you into a space flag off the bow." She narrowed her eyes and wagged her finger.
Gathering up her chips and wires and tools she tossed then into the antigrav bag and scooted it sailing toward the wall and nodded in approval as the magnet there kept it in place. "Chant, we need to go into the tubes off the back dylingal fusion compartment and recalibrate the inductors to a less rich induction of air.
Finally climbing to her feet she stretched her arms up and over her head as she sighed softly and her tied denim shirt lifted showing off a taunt stomach. her short shorts and tennis were reminiscent of an 80's teenager and she could have been that young as she headed out of the navigational deck and toward engineering intent on getting her work finished for the day.
