Giamond:

It was long minutes before Giamond drew back from Aria, reluctantly breaking their embrace. When he did, he looked into her eyes, showing her the sincere promise to always stand by her side with a simple look. "Rest now, you need, you must heal, Aria. I will stay here, by your side until you do."

Thildemar

He was taken by surprise by Rose's action, but when their lips met, he did not break away, he could only linger at her lips, his hands coming up to embrace her tightly in their circle. Thildimar deepened their kiss, but faltered as he did, pulling away to look into Rose's eyes. He reguarded her with a look of awe, his lips remaining parted, dampened by their kiss.

Rose:

She looked a little taken back by the acceptance of her kiss. Her eyes met his and she panicked. What did he think of her now? Does he have the same attraction to her or had the kiss been more one sided than it seemed. She pulled slowly out of his arms and wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"Forgive me. I should have not kissed you. I think I was assuming too much on both our parts. Good day," with that she turned around and ran out of the room to find her father or someone to take her mind off of the most interesting, beautiful, and daresay agrivating man in her life.

Aizalin

Aizalin:

In the meanwhile, in Aizalin's castle, was the mage watching in his crystal ball where he saw a horned monster in a dark forest that was bigger than the demon he had met before.

Aizalin thought "I fear this creature, he looks stronger than the demon I had fought with!"

Thildimar:

Turning about to face the open door way Rose had just run through, Thil leaned against the side of her bed, his eyes still wide, his lips still parted, still moist. He touched his fingers to them and took a breath. "Amasing." He whispered to himself.

Rose:

Rose finally found her father with Aria but not wanting to intrude began to wander around. She eventually walked into the woods the Shadows wrapped about her in a protective shield to find a calming place to think. She found a clearing with a tree stump and a few animals grazing on the farthest side from her.

She touched her stomach where she knew her baby grew and wanted to weep at the fact the baby would never have a father, not even be able to find him like she had found her father. The worse part was that she didn't even love or like who had done this to her. She had been raped in the worse way. Five of them rutting after her and her unable to fend them off and even liking it in her disgust. She was unsure who she hated more. Herself, her mother, or those five drow.

She sighed and curled up leaning against the stump and feel into a short dreamless nap.

Thildimar:

He was tracking Rose, following her foot prints in the loamy ground. Since their kiss, Thil had felt an urge to be near her, to protect her. He followed her path, past Aria's hut, deeper into the wildness of Southwood. With a draw of breath, he found her curled up, sleeping form and he went down to his knee at her side, hesitant to touch her. "Rose?" He called out, bare above a whisper as his hand reached out to touch her sloping shoulder.

Rose:

Rose woke suddenly as her shadows whispered inside her brain of someone near her. When her eyes focused she saw Thildemar kneeling before her with his arm stretching out to her. Her eyes went wide for a moment and then she moved back an inch.

"You scared me. Even with my shadows. Is everything okay? Is father and Aria alright? I saw them kissing and I didn't want to intrude on them. It looks as if your sister is getting very close to my father."

Rose stood up looking at him shyly and started to pace her, "Everything these passed days has been very hectic and I want to apologize for...kissing you. I think my mind has just been so mixed up especially with...my being...raped and all and your sister...She is alright isn't she?"

Thildimar:

Drawing his hand away as Rose pulled back, Thildimar tilted his head to the side ever so slightly. "Forgive me, I did not mean to scare you, everything is well with them. I think secretly, they have loved one another for quite some time. It is you that concerns me, Rose."

He stood back and allowed her, her space, in which she paced. And as she spoke, Thildimar found himself begining to smile, only to have it faulter before the end. "I agree that things have been hectic, and I am certain that there is more to come, but you aughtn't apologize for kissing me. I don't regret it at all, but if you do, I will not press the matter farther. It is understandable, what happened to you is considered to be the worst crime an elf can commit, tenfold in your case. The drow will pay for what they have done to you." Thildimar's expression took on the darkness of bitter hatred for a moment, then it subsided. He opened his arms to Rose. "My sisters wounds will not kill her, your father is quite capable of soothing them. Please, come back with me to the village, it is not entirely safe out here, for either of us."

Aizalin

Aizalin had recognised the dark and big forest in the crystal ball, there was an small elven village there that he visited as a kid where there was a swamp near the village.
Nobody wanted to go to the swamp, as many creatures lived out there.
Aizalin left his crystal ball and thought "I have to warn the citizens against this beast, maybe is he having a new monster army with him!'

Rose:

She sighed and looked at Thildemar for a moment. Then she walked into his arms and clutched him around the neck.

"I'm sorry I acted so badly. I do not regret kissing you...I was afraid you would regret it. I was just scared. We should get back...something seems very wrong with this place."

Rose's fear increased as she felt her shadows wrap around her tighter.

Thildimar:

Embracing Rose gently, Thildimar stared off into the quickly darkening forest. "You acted naturally, I can understand your fear Rose." Thildimar gave a soft laugh. "You havn't changed, I remember when I taught you, you would always second guess yourself." Shifting his eyes, Thildimar looked off in a direction, he swore to have heard something moving. "I am begining to agree with you, let us go."

Rose:

Rose looked up to see Thildimar looking out into the dark woods and suddenly she stiffened. The shadows wrapped tight frantically calling to her then she saw them. Eyes in the distance glaring into her and Thildimar. Glowing eyes.

"Something's coming."

She grabbed his hand and started off in the opposite direction blindly trying to get to the village.

Thildimar:

Keeping ahold of Rose's hand as she ran, Thildimar spotted a low hanging branch and caught ahold of it. Swinging himself and rose up into the tree, the strain painfully wrenching his arms, they landed securely in the safety of the tree. the beast was at the tree's trunk imediately after them. "I don't mean to be a downer, my little rose, but the village isn't prepared for a creature like this, especially if we lead it right into their midsts without warning." The beast struck the tree's trunk with a sweep of its arm, shaking it. Rose stumbled into Thildimar's chest. Thil caught her and righted her, with a soft smile. "Steady my little Rose. I will lure the creature away. Please, return to the safety of the village and warn them of this danger!"

Aizalin

Aizalin took to the village where he warned the citizens about the beasts who was on the way to the village.
While the kids was sent to the room under the pub that was used under war and other dangers, was the warriors sent out with Aizalin to face the monsters.

Rose:

Rose watched as Thildimar went off leaping tree to tree and the beast chase after him. She immediately slide down the tree landing on her butt and scrambled up to run back to the Elven Village.

Once she reached the village she began to run out of breath but went directly to her father who was already prepared.

"Father! Thildimar came after me in the woods. A creature is following him and I am scared something will happen to him. Please help him."

Giamond:

Embracing Rose in his arms, partly to greet her home, and partly to steady her on her feet, Giamond looked over her shoulders in the direction she had run from. "A beast eh? Its just like Thildimar to play the hero like that. I can't let him run that thing down on his own." Pushing Rose to arms length, he looked her in the eyes. "I want you to promise me you will stay here, where you're safe."

"But...Thildimar...my shadows can protect me. I want to go with you. Please I feel so bad for leaving him out there," Rose pleaded with her father but noticed a very inmoveable gaze come through his eyes.

Rose sighed and said, "I will go see if Aria needs anything," she turned then left to go to Aria's home.

Thildimar:

He just couldn't lose the damn beast, though he tried everything. Out of breath, he landed high in a tree, a clearing behind him as he turned to face the thing. "Damnable bastard." He hissed, whipping out his weapons, his braided hair dangling over his shoulders. "Come on!" Thildimar spat as the thing lumbered forward, bashing trees right off their trunks as it did.

Thalios Kos (Thay from here on)

::Underdark was now in a state of disarray. The Spider Queen, Lollth, in her quest to reign over the dark realm had devoted herself to her granddaughter, Laryssana, and raising her to take the throne. This did not sit well with a few of the Drow living beneath the earth. After meeting with all of those who opposed the Spider-Queen, a single Drow warrior would have to be sent to Southwood and guide their Warriors to Underdark. This was the quest Thalios Kos was given, and although the others thought he would sneak out unbeknownst to the Spirder-Queen. It would soon be discovered, to all but Thay, that she did indeed know of the plot.

Without incident, Thay made it out of Underdark, traveling by nightfall as the dailight blinded his sensative eyes, and made it well into the forest. Only then, after putting a few tens of miles between he and Underdark, did he feel safe to be moving about and double his efforts to get him to Southwood quickly. It was the third day of the journey that he came upon the horned demon, and while remaining undetected in the trees, brush, and shadows he heard the demon speak the name Southwood. This demon using a sence of tracking or sent, would lead him to his destination.

It was then on the fourth day, though daylight reigned supreme, that a warrior of Southwood would meet the demon. Now Thay would make his move and help to fall the creature of the UnderWorld, in hopes that his actions would serve to sway the warrior to give him audience with the Southwood elders. With a silent fury, he lept into battle opposite Thildimar, his runeblade drawn ready to return the demon to the hell that spawned him.::

Thildimar:

The sudden appearance of a drow was the last thing Thildimar expected. He kept his blade between him and the beast, but glared at the ebon skinned elf suspiciously. The beast lumbered toward them, giving them no time to relate their intentions. Thildimar launched out of a mighty fist, tucking and rolling as he did. The ground shook from the demon's strike, causing the leaves above to hiss and rattle in responce. "Take care, if it hits you, there won't be any getting up." Thildimar called out, having been separated from the drow by the attack.

Rose:

Rose made her way quickly to Aria's home and knocked on the door. She was hoping that Aria would help her go after her brother to help him. She needed to hurry though or the beast might catch Thildimar off guard and kill him. Rose would never forgive herself.

Rose pressed her ear to the door and heard so rustling inside thinking Aria was going to answer soon. She knocked again praying for her to hurry.

Thay:

::Seeing the demon's strike effect their surroundings made Thildimar's point all the stronger, and now this meeting would have even higher stakes than before. The demon distracted with Thildimar gave Thay an opening, and he lept in and struck at one of the demon's legs. Though his blade struck true, it barely parted the demon's thick skin. ~Well that didnae have the effect I hoped for~ He thought as the demon turned to look at its leg.

With a gutteral cry, the demon reared back both of his fists and brought them both down intending to strike the Drow, but Thay lept backwards and the fists impacted the ground sending a shockwave rippling out like droplets in a pond. Quickly Thay rolled away from another punch and as he regained his feet he took a dagger from his belt and jammed it into the demon's side.

The Demon growled and ripped the dagger from his body, then turned to face it's advisaries who were now together.

"I think a new strategy is in order"

Thildimar:

"Obviously." Thildimar repeated, catching his breath. 'Breath, yes, the thing's breathing...' Thildimar thought as he imediatly drew out the sash about his waist. "Distract him!" Thildimar shot as he sprinted off into the cloak of the woods.

Thay

::watches as Thildimar evacuates and shakes his head unsure of his plan::

Distract him you say, and what are you going to ....

::Before Thay could finish he turned and looked at the Demon who just drew back a fist and was in the prosses of swinging. Luckily, Thay's catlike agility saved him once again, his feet pushing hard off the ground sending him just out of reach. The demon's fist barely grazed him but it was efficient enough to make his landing less than perfect. Cursing, Thay kipped-up, returning him to an upright position, and steadied himself for the next attack.

The next fist was off and allowed Thay a counterstrike which would do nothing but Piss off the Demon, but as he was volunteered to do, he was keeping the demon busy.::
