Okay over the next 48 hours or so please bear with me while I move a couple of threads (or beg KM to do so). I may rename one or two and I will be adding one or two.

Firstly, I will endeavour to have the links in my signature line updated as soon as the threads are moved.

Secondly, I will post here a set of thread titles, links, and brief explanation for each.

Basically, only the research threads will remain in the Authors' Hangout. The majority of the rest will be found in the SDC (Story Discussion Circle).

A general bump.

There's a General Discussion thread in the SDC for Snippettsville Authors, new and old, to chill out in. See my signature line or the above posting to get to it.

It means "thank God". I think this must be the fifth Snippetsville thread in the forum. Not being part of them myself, and too lazy to read all the 40+ pages of posts to pick up what they're all about, I just imitate the group who sang "Alice? Who the fuck is Alice?", and shout:

"Snippetsville"? What the FUCK is Snippetsville?

Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. I'm just feeling cranky today. Going to weight watchers tomorrow...

Right, sorry for the delay, work beckoned for a few hours there.

There are a total of 7 threads including the Sticky in the SDC.
There are 14 authors signed up for the Snippettsville Group so far.
There are a total of 6 threads including this thread in the AH.

That's one hell of a lot of threads I know and am fully aware of each and every one of them and how they are coming across to all Literotica users.

I apologise for having so many threads, however each and every single one of them is necessary for this project. And I fully intend that there will be more before this project is set in concrete.

The Project In Brief.
Snippettsville Authors are to write 600 word stories based around a township containing approx 1,000 people. The township and surrounding areas are in the process of being created at the moment and most signed in authors are helping with that creation (all of course are welcome). There will continue to be the odd thread pertaining to research for Snippettsville in the Author's Hangout, but the foundation of our Project will be in the SDC.

I know it's brief, but I'm operating with matchsticks holding my eyeballs open at the moment and another late work meeting tonight. Roll on next week when 'life' settles.

SWEETEST ONE:

Just a note to say you are very very appreciated. I don't see how you and the others, but especially you, have managed all this. I am sorry I cannot help, it's best not to volunteer out of guilt, I think, when I have nothing to offer behind the scenes (simply do not have the time).

Ignore protests re. the threads, one only has to read "Snips" and scroll down.

You're truly wild in this endeavor and all the sweeter.

Hugs and kisses, wish I could give you more hours in the day.

with real and virtual gratitude, Perdita :rose: :rose: :rose:

DO NOT respond to this.

Thank you perdita. You have a lot to offer dear, and your support and encouragement such as you've just shown are much appreciated also. :rose:

Well, it's great that this group puts down so much effort in this project. But, standing on the outside, I claim the right to point and laugh.

You could always bite the bullet, catch up with the threads and join, dear. :)

ps, Feel free to find a thread of your own to point and laugh from. This project is hard work for all who have joined and participated and the rewards of seeing our combined end results are looked forward to by all of us.

Fliquita: think about joining, even for just a visit. You could have a tourist (or two) from Sweden, just passing through town and coincidentally having a great sexcapade to remember while making fun of Americans, or you could have a character end up there by mistake and have a great sexcapade and making fun of Americans. 600 words, you can do it.

Oh, them Swedes

Originally posted by PierceStreet There are a lot of Swedish Americans whose ancestors came here to work as lumberjacks in towns like Snippettsville.
You can tell them by the way they say, "Yumpin' Yimminy!"
