The idea struck me in the "How often do you visit the story section of Lit" thread started by WriterDom. I'll bet a bunch of us here have a favorite story, one we would suggest to our friends. Post links here, and a description of why you like the story - maybe you'll help the author out by getting him or her a few more reads, and maybe you'll just make someone's day by sending them towards the best story on Lit!
 
Two Wonderful Novellas

The last time I was out looking around in the story section I came across a relatively new addition the the BDSM section - Tales From Subspace by NIGHTQUEEN1963 got me with the first page, a story in itself. It went on for 25 pages after that!! This is a great example of "stories within stories" and quite a novella. It has very few votes...I think probably because it's so long and people don't read through to the finish. I recommend it to anyone looking for a few days read, or at least a few hours. (took me from 5 in the afternoon to 8)

One of my all time favorites on the site is Rhiana by SlaveMasterUK. This is in the novella section, so it's another long read. A great twist of sci-fi, D/s, some nonconsent...It's one of the ones that I go back to time after time. I would recommend it to anyone = )

i don't know how to link it up, but there's a story called "Ink" that's really just fucking amazing. it's not what i'd call jack-off material, but it's just really well written.

It's been done a couple of times already and didn't get much interest.

Sometimes I like to go to the story section and use the spinner. It's like a box of chocolates. And if you lose interest you can spin again.
 
If I'm not talking about sex... I'm talking about sleep, food, or psychology related things (if you take away all the day to day stuff we all talk about)... So going with my love for music/sex I would have to reconmend Sheath's stories ::nod::

I also don't understand why this thread didn't kick off, there are so soo many stories here, its good to have some new ideas or new stories to seek out :)

Like some of the stories but find it difficult to read when the writing switches often from past tense to present tense, sometimes within the same sentence, and the tendency to overuse the character's name at the beginning, or in each sentence in a paragragh. Guess they are just technicalities, but they interrupt the flow of storyline etc. Still, they do have imagination unlike some others.

These two are loving-encounters without major cloyingness. They are from a Dom Male point of view although they seem to have more to do with the Submissive's arousal - I like the undercurrent of the stories that hint at how he deals with inflicting pain on someone he loves. Very eenteresting and sweet.

Yes, it is beautiful isn't it but definately not the wank variety which I think makes it even better. I find the writing is not only technically well done but shows great insight into BDSM and human emotions.

I still have to say that One-Night Stand with the Archangel by IrresistableBeauty is my favorite that I've read so far. It starts a little slow, but I figure that just made me appreciate the ending more. This is definitely one that you can jerk off to. It's not as deity-oriented as the title would have you believe, but it does have its sorta supernatural moments.
