So, I got my nipples pierced

I am not in excrutiating pain, so that is a plus.

It hurt like hell at the moment of penetration. I cried out, "oh my God, you have got to be kidding me." - and my legs shot straight up so that my entire body was parallel. lol The very second I uttered the last word, the pain was gone. I was completely numb. I didn't really have any bleeding, just a drop or two. I was very fortunate that I was able to get them done simultaneously, otherwise I really doubt I would've gotten the second one done.

It is uncomfortable right now, but not unbearable. More annoying that anything. I figure once the pain rush wears off, it will hurt like hell again.

I watched my best friend get hers done before it was my turn. It was painful to watch, and I wasn't sure if I would go through with it. Her nipples are smaller than mine, so she has smaller rings.

All in all, a very interesting experience.

I got mine done several years ago and love it!
It might be a while yet, but you'll have a lot more fun with them when you can swap and change jewellery.

I know you were considering, and were curious about how size played into it. My friend has smaller aerolas, so she was fitted with smaller rings. I have huge aerolas, so I was fitted with larger rings. The only difference in the rings is the circumference. The same gauge needle was used for us both. So the ring width is the same, the actual hole is the same size.

I got mine done a little over a month ago. After the first few days just be careful when you get them bumped. I play a lot of soccer and the first time a ball hit them before they were healed it hurt like hell. I heal pretty quick and for the most part they still have a bit of tenderness every now and then but I happen to love them.
