Southern Baptists are the second largest protestant sect in the USA and are quite traditional in their beliefs.

Having read their views on marriage (with which I agree) I started to wonder if Baptists are more likely to be into D/s...whaddya think?

why not ask one? I'm sure you'll get an intresting reaction (was ejected from my southern baptist church for challenging the dogma)

I was raised in a Southern Fascist church and no they are not into D/s or any kind of kink. In fact if you had sex in any position other than missionary you were being dirty. I was kicked out for having sex before marriage and "hell rasin".

Well, there's the old joke about Baptists never having sex standing up for fear they be seen and mistaken for dancing...but I'm wondering if Southern Baptist hypocrisy in the bedroom results in bondage a la Catholic grrls who blow the football team after confession, if you catch my drift.

I was raised in a Baptist family.
We were taught to respect our elders
and the man was the head of the household.
My Grandfather sat at the head of the table.
He was boss.

I don't think my Grandmother was submissive.
Grandpa wasn't a lay down the law
type of guy but what he said went in our house.
He was a gently man, I never heard his voice raised
in anger or in a Domineering way at all.

Raising your voice or being angry are not hallmarks of a Dominant.
