Nickolas Arin was your typical college student. He did his homework, partied on weekends, and worried about his grades. He participated in extracurricular activities, such as swimming, fencing, and martial arts, but also had a job at an anime store. That all changed at the beginning of his summer vacation. He went to Tokyo on business for the store he worked at while off school, and decided to visit the Tokyo Tower. He walked up the long flights of stairs, and when he finally came out, he collapsed onto a bench. He breathed a sigh of relief, then looked around, and saw a beautiful redhead standing alone by the balcony. He raised an eyebrow, then smiled. That's when his world changed. As he stood up, and started to walk over to her, he saw a bright light. He felt himself rise up off the floor of the section of the tower, and saw the redhead flying into the sky ahead of him. As they flew off, him several hundred feet behind the redhead, the sky changed, and below them appeared a large island with a single mountain rushing up at him. He braced himself for the crash, but fell lightly on the mountain.

OOC: looking for one woman to play Hikaru Shidou, Magic Knight

Hikaru Shidou stood at the edge of the railing, looking out at the world. She knew it was time to get back... but she couldn't bring herself to move. Suddenly she heard footsteps, and a male plopped down on a bench behind her. She smirked, as she heard him rise and walk toward her. With a bounce, she flew toward her home, happily dragging this unknowing human with her.

It was sunny at the island, and as she landed lightly on the top of the mountain with one light touch of her white boot. She turned to face the new man, inspecting her find. His body was muscular but toned, he must be an athlete. She smiled, skipping over to him and stopping inches form his face, her red braid whipping around and smacking him lightly on the shoulder. "Who are you?" she asked, blinking her large, hazel brown eyes in wonder.

He looked at her stunned, absolute confusion apparent on his face. He looked around, staring at his surroundings in awe. It was absolutely beautiful, if a little frightening, being up on top of a mountain. When she walked up to him, her long red braid smacking his shoulder, he opened his mouth, only to squeak. He closed his mouth, swallowing hard, then tried again. "Shouldn't you introduce yourself before asking someone their name? Especially after...uh...where are we and how did we get here, anyways?"

Hikaru smiled, spinning around once and spreading her in a wide arc. "This," she introduced, almost singing, "is my home!" She turned to face him, her full lips grinning over at his astounded face. "I'm Hikaru Shidou," she said with a small bow, her body flowing downward before springing back to a standing position. "You got here the same way I did...through the portal."

She laughed as his face deepened with confusion. She bounced over to him and patted his head. "Don't think too hard about it, there really isn't much to it. Just some magic..." she trailed off, and ended with a sly smile.

He put a hand to his head, and slowly sank down to a sitting position. This girl was even more confusing than what had happened. "Okay. So what now?" He looked at her, massaging his temple at the same time.

She smiled brightly at him, spinning on the spot so her braid went flying across her body. "Now we go back to the village," she explained, laughing at his befuddled face. The poor guy was so confused...but she couldn't help but smile at his furrowed forehead. She bent down so she was looking him in the eye and said, "Race ya!"

With that, she turned and dashed down the mountain. A guy with muscles like his must be good at running...she let out a bubbly laugh, turning back to see if he was following her.

He blinked again, and stood up slowly. He stared after her for a few moments, then took off after her. Catching up with her wasn't much trouble, though it took him longer because she was used to where they were. He managed to tackle her to the ground at the bottom, rolling with her several times.

Her feet barely touched the ground as she flew across the ground, and she gasped as she felt two arms tackle her to the floor. Defensively, she rolled out of his grasp and stood, her eyes flashing as she cocked her head to the side. "You're fast," she admired, surprised he had caught up with her so quickly.

He'd ended up upside down on the ground in relation to her. He looked up over his head, and grinned sheepishly. "Sometimes it seems all I've been doing is running." He sat up slowly, and winced. "Ooooo...a bit too much. I haven't done that in a while." He sat there, letting his brain uncloud. Then he got to his feet and looked at her again. "Right, so....I'm Nick."

Hikaru felt a smile dance onto her lips, crossing her arms across her chest. "Nick..." she repeated, skipping over to Nick and bending at her waist, her red braid falling in between them. "What a funny name!"

She laughed, standing up again and spinning, taking in their surroundings. They were in the valley just below the mountain. Woods surrounded them, and a lake was shimmering in the horizon. "So, Nick," she said, saying his name caused her to smile, lighting up her face. "Wanna go swimming?"

She walked over to him offered a hand to pull him to his feet.

He laughed sheepishly. "It's actually short for Nickolas. It's an American name." He blinked, surprised at her question. Then he considered, and nodded, reaching up and taking her hand. He got to his feet slowly, and then blinked again, realizing he didn't have a pair of swimming trunks. "I've...got no trunks."

She giggled lightly, dancing over to the lake. "Don't need them!" she called, reaching the water's edge and stripping off her crimson top and black skirt, stepping out of her white knee-high boots. She dove into the water, the lights reflecting off her toned skin, silky bra, and black panties. Her hair undid from it's braid as she surfaced, grinning over at him and treading water, her hair creating an arc around her body. "It's not cold!" she called, assuming he was hesitating because he was scared.

He stared in shock as she stripped like he wasn't even there and dove into the water. As she surfaced, he was at least grateful she'd kept on her panties and bra. He didn't think his heart would have taken seeing her completely nude. When she called out to him, urging him to join her, he was hesitant at first. He wasn't sure exactly why, but this was a bit unnerving. Still, he ended up dropping his pants and shirt, kicking off his shoes and socks, and then slowly slid into the water.

She sank her face below the water, so only her bright eyes were shining across the surface as she watched him climb carefully into the lake. She wasn't one to stare, but she felt her eyes follow his body as it smoothly sank below the water's surface, blurring out of sight. She giggled under water, bubbles rising to tickle her skin. She ducked under the water, swimming quickly over to him and resurfacing inches from his face, her bright smile growing as she yelled childishly, "Boo!"

He gasped, surprised by the sudden appearance of her, and ended up falling backwards in the water. He came back up slowly, coughing and sputtering.

She laughed, pulling on his hand so he was standing again. Her eyes were dancing and her hair flowed across the surface of the water. "Nick," she said again, twirling. "Do you swim back in your town?"

He nodded, keeping his eyes on the surroundings. "Yeah, but not normally wearing just underwear, and not normally with halfdressed women we barely know. Then again, swimming pools are a great place to meet people. And gals don't usually scare guys in the pool either." He grinned sheepishly, then slowly looked into her eyes. "So what is this place, aside from your home?"

She leaned back in the water, floating on her back along the surface. "Well, it's called Cephiro. I've lived here all my life... but you humans just fascinate me so much, one day I found a portal to your world..." she turned, grinning over at Nick. "There's also other islands, but this one is where I grew up. I guess it's just luck you were brought back here with me," she said with a wink.

((Sorry if that's way off from the anime but I'm just kinda creating a background...))

He raised an eyebrow at that, and smiled. "Luck. Sure. So what do I do now? And what are you planning on doing now that you're back in your home?"

She drifted across the water, thinking. "Well, I could take you to my village...meet my little sister. She's a cutie... has red hair just like mine," she said, tracing her fingers through her crimson red hair.

He laughed. "And that would do what exactly? It's not part of a marriage ceremony or something, is it? Though I suppose that wouldn't be so bad." He shrugged, and swam past her.

She laughed, blinking over at him. "Marriage ceremony..." she chuckled, dunking her head under water and rising up again, splashing Nick. "You're sly," she laughed, swimming down and grabbing onto Nick's foot, pulling it up and flipping him underwater, a playful grin on her face.

He blinked, and then coughed, accidentally swallowing some water. He swam for the shore, and dragged himself out slowly. He coughed, spluttered, and then breathed heavily, turning back to search the waters for her. He didn't see any sign of her, though, and that suddenly worried him a lot.

His foot jerked out of her grip as he swam for shore, her body spiraling down to the bottom of the lake, her bra slipping as she hit the soft floor, blinking in the crystal clear water. She squatted, and pushed her feet off the ground to go back to the surface...but as she did, something pulled on her ankle, restraining her. She twisted around, and saw her foot stuck in a mass of weeds, knotting themselves around her ankle. She struggled against them, trying to free herself as bubbles rose to the surface from her mouth.
