Murder for Hire 2: Killifornia (OOC: Casting)

Ok, I'm ready to revive this story. Unfortunately save_Marla has bowed out and she will be missed greatly. The role of Bunny is now open and we also need a new contract (Preferably based in San Francisco).

Story so far: Bunny and Clyde are the most dangerous and unfeeling contract killers on the market today. What they lack in control, cleanliness and foresight they make up for in efficiency. Many are afraid to even hire the duo because of their uncaring attitude and sexual exploits.

They also have a secret... Bunny is barren and Clyde is unable to attain an erection unless he is in the act or persuit of a fresh murder. For these two murder isn't just their occupation, it's their addiction.

Jennifer Waters (emily123) was their latest victim. A housewife who hired them to kill her husband, earned their ire by attempting to call off the hit. Eventually Derrick Waters outbid her contract and she was killed.

Derrick Waters (Poohlive) was only playing along with the plot to kill his wife and also attempted to stop the hit at the last second. He is still alive but now a widower with a mindset for revenge.

Madeline Porter (RedHairedandFriendly) is a former cop, disgraced by her inability to stop Clyde is now hellbent on vengance and has been hounding the couple across the country, drawing steadily closer.

There is plenty of room in this thread because I'd like to turn up the heat a bit now. The main role I'm casting is Bunny of course. I've gotten some interest from a few people so I'll ask for a sample post from anyone who wants to play this part (Pic preferred). I'm going to go ahead and say that whoever wants to play the contract this time should play 2 roles (Client and victim) to avoid a tug of war over who gets killed.

There is also room for Feds or regular cops to chase, and new ideas are welcome. I'll be posting the IC soon.

woohoo sounds like great fun and of course all of my favorite writers are here lol. anyways i am up for eithor playing the role of someone killed ( not so good at multiple roles.) or i could apply for the role of bunny. i will leave it up to you guys as to where you think i would be best used.

ICU, I'd love to have a new victim, just so long as you understand that you have to die at the end. Feel free to create the circumstances (I'd like something a little bit challenging this time). Or if you want to be Bunny submit a sample post.

hehe i have NOOO problems with having my char die . so that is not a big deal to me. but i was wondering after i get turned into some bloodly mass of oozing fleshy glob of goo if i could create another char so that i can continue to write with you all? lol.. i will think of a nice and no so simple idea for my death. *wiggles my eyebrows.* do i really have to play the person putting out the hit and the vic though? lol as you have seen i am not very good at doing multiple roles.. all though i will do my very best if you want me to.

LoL You are definately welcome to create a new character after we kill off one. No you definately do not have to play both roles, in fact I like the idea of having a contact and victim played by seperate people. It fits better with what the first thread was. Plus I' am a firm believer in the old addige "The more the merrier." so no worries.

Madeleine Porter had grown up surrounded by Firemen and Police Officers. Her mother had passed away at a young age and she was raised by her father and six brothers. She is the youngest in the family. Her father, Michael Porter is a retired Police Detective. The three eldest brothers, Michael, John and Jonah became cops, and the three younger, Sam, Donny and Frank became firemen. Madeleine worked hard to become one of the highest ranking female detectives on the force.

She responded to a call one night concerning a possible breaking and entering only to come across the horrific scene of a male assailant and his willing female accomplice having sex with a dying corpse. She stood there in shock as the blood poured from several open wounds. Eventually, she shook herself out of her mind-numbing state and began to squeeze off two rounds, which hit the wall behind the male suspect. He fired back, hitting her in the shoulder and bringing her down.

When she awoke it was to find the man raping her; she fought him with what little strength she had left only to be found by her fellow officers just as the man covered her in his come. Another bout of firing cascaded around her and the two murderers got away in a flurry of flying bullets. Madeleine tried to prove she was not a willing partner to the sexual sickness that the male assailant had forced on her, but her pleas fell on death ears.

Her family was divided. Her father doubted her word, trusting the men and women he’d served with for many years. Her brothers were also divided, but in the end no one stood by her as she vowed to hunt down and find Clyde and Bunny. She’s dipped into her savings, money inherited from a dead grandparent that had dealings with the mob, but was also a Porter, someone you just didn’t cross.

Ok I'm starting to worry about the role of Bunny. Several people have expressed interest but I haven't gotten any sample posts or anything really. Right now Cyanide_Star is the front runner because she gave me a really stunning pic for Bunny but she has Private Messaging dissabled so I haven't been able to get in touch with her.

I'm really looking for a new take on this character so nobody think that you have to try and capture Marla's old style, but Clyde needs his Bunny.

Hey folks,

I've been talking to LitShark a bit, today... I really don't want to see this thread die, and I really miss playing with you all - so I'd like to pick up the role of Bunny again, if you'll have me.

I'm online more often, lately - but there is an impending move going to happen sometime this month, so I'll warn you as I've warned him - I may disappear again. But I will try to give better notice, this time.

When I have a computer set up at the new place, I will be back - but I don't know when that will be. So, if you find someone less flakey who's interested in the role of Bunny, you might want to give her a chance.


I have to run out for a while this evening, but hope to get a post in later tonight, when I've finished catching up on what has happened, so far.

If anyone has a problem with me joining in again, please let me know.

I think if you have no issues with Shark playing your character, which in the past it is obvious that isn't a problem for you. . .in my opinion you should stay and post when you can, but in the end it is up to him. . . and since you two have been talking behind the scenes I am sure he and you already know how he feels. . .

Either way, I think you're writing is really superb for Bunny and I enjoy reading your posts.

LitShark, I have zero idea of what a Tech-9 looks like...I did a Google search (GEEEEEEEEEK), and couldn't find much useful. Also, don't know how it behaves, at all. Saw something saying it's a semi-automatic, sooo...that means it reloads itself?

I'm from Canada, help me out.

LoL I'm sorry I missed this post earlier, sorry about sticking you with the task of describing an object which you haven't seen.

A tech-9 is a .9mm semi-auto/automatic pistol which baisically means little tiny bullets comming really really fast. The gun itself is usually black or just bare silver metal. A fairly long barrel surrounded by an outer cylinder that has holes in it. It doesn't exactly reload itself but it fires from a fairly long clip that hangs down just ahead of the trigger. Something like a long pistol with a clip.

Here is a pic of one, though I'm not sure who the dufuss in the picture is or why the camera is shaking so much but you can kinda get a better idea of the barrel.

My point for posting on here was to ask red and pooh if they were hoping for a smooth time out on the town of if Thoaty might be able to make another appearance. A driveby into a cowded restaurant seems like his style.

Oh and Pooh, I'm not sure if it's part of Derrick's trauma or you're confused, Bunny and Clyde are headed to San Francisco, LA was where they just murdered your wife. Maybe I'm confused, I dunno.

I don't mind a drive-by, but now I too am confused. If they left LA where are they now?

they are northbound toward SF. Probably pretty close by now, but LA to San Fran is like a 6 hour drive
