Principality of Gavinium- The old Prince is dead, and his firstborn son Alec has ascended the throne. However, he has one duty that he must perform to keep his throne, consummate his marriage to all of the grown relatives in his harem, starting with his own mother! Yes, the harem is composed entirely of adult relations of the ruling prince. This is done to prevent princes from raping and thus provoking prominent subjects. However, there are female rulers at times, and they have the same right. No members of the royal family are allowed to sleep with other people.

Gavinium has no compunctions about same-sex relations or incest, but cheating is frowned upon in this society, since polygamy is expected to make such deceit unnecessary. Alec dreaded this part of his new office. Today was the moment of truth. He had to consummate his marriage to his chief consort, the only one of his wives that he hadn't touched yet in that way.
