(Open Thread)​

Five completely different students find themselves spending the weekend together in detention. With your typical stereotypes, the priss, jock, nerd, lout, and goth its not your typical day in detention. Not much in common, except for having to give up their day, sit in the school library, and write an essay for the principal. Being from such widely different backgrounds and having such completely different personalities, it's inevitable that some frictions and shenanigans develop. Especially when the principal leaves the room...

Imagine spending your saturday in an 8 hour detention. You're locked in a room with four of your most worst stereotyped enemies. What would you have done? What things do you think would have transpired? And the most interesting of all, do you think you would have made it with any of them if given the chance? Well in this Breakfast Club spin off we'll explore those possibilities while generating an angst ridden mischief hording day of revolations. Will they become friends or remain bitter enemies? Only one way to find out... and the run of the whole school to do it in!

History: Chirstabella, was always singled out as the weird student in school. Mainly due to her style of dress that dealt mostly in black, white or red hues... While she wasn't ugly by any standards she tended to creep out the student populas with her strange pranks and odd form of speech. Her reason for being in detention could steam from a number of odd events that the principle just finally got fed up over. The main one dealing with the recent resignation of her art teacher who found himself attacked during rush out by a car full of poisonous snakes. Bella didn't deny putting the snakes in the man's car and when asked why she simply stated: "He deserves worse." Without a decent reason behind it or a confession, she was put in detention rather than sent to juvenille since the teacher wanted to keep the incident as hush-hush as possible. Many wondered why...Bella would not tell.

History: Shana was actually put into detention by accident. Earlier in the school year some of her friends had attempted to break into the schools net, and access personel files, but got caught. While not involved with their scheme, she too was thrown in as an example to those who associate themselves with 'criminals'. This isn't to say, however, that Shana wouldn't have helped. SHe is herself quite the schemer, often playing the innocent role to get what she wants. She might put a smile on, but her quick mind is often at work formulating scenarios and new ideas. So she finds herself now in the fabled halls of detention, sitting at a desk and tapping her pencil against the top.

History: (how they got detention/personality) Malcolm got detention for skipping class to break up with his latest fling. He's the ladies man of the school, Class Jock, Class Hunk, can get anyone he wants, and he wants them all.

HIstory/Backround. Terrisa Scots is one of the more popular girls at the school. She has everything going for her. shes not always nice to everyone acually she can be a complete bitch if you get on her bad side. her grades arn't to great but her looks are so she plans on just getting lucky with a rich guy. She was over heard talking a lot of bad stuff about a girl and it lasted the whole period. At the end the teacher made her stay after class to talk about it. She was then given a detention a long one to

Stereotype: Jock

Appearance: Richard is a pretty well-built guy, looking particularly cut during wrestling season as he cuts weight so that he can wrestle smaller guys and dominate. He won the state tournament last year, but that's not enough to guarantee him a college scholarship so he's working doubly hard this year to just annihilate his opposition, nothing is going to stand in the way of him getting to college. Richard's typical clothes are cargo pants or jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies.

History: Apparently, the math teacher doesn't realize that doing well in math is not going to get Richard to college, in fact, her damn math class might cost him his chance at a scholarship. So he doesn't do his homework for her class, who really cares, his parents sure don't, his coach sure doesn't, but now here he is, wasting a Saturday that he could be at the gym or at practice, but she's making him come to detention. That asshole assistant principal made it clear to Richard and his parents and the coach that if he didn't show up, a suspension would be in order and any scholarship would be gone for sure.
 
So it's sorta social, demented and sad, but social. Right?

History: Cheryl certainly gives the impressing that she is a prissy little snob and if you asked her, she might even agree that she is one. Its not that Cheryl is insensitive to other people it’s simply that she rarely really sees the ones outside of her immediate circle. Caught between her mother’s desire to have a daughter follow in her Home Coming/Prom Queen footsteps and he father’s desire to see her get into a good (private or better yet, Ivy League) college, Cheryl has no time to spend on other people. Her life, which is barely her own, is spent devoted to all the right clubs, the social clubs not academic clubs, or trying to find time to study. She has no time for personal relationships and hides behind a shield of cool indifference to avoid entanglements.

Erin is in detention because no good deed goes unpunished and a simple rare attempt to help someone she thought was sick, devolved into being late for class, accusations of smoking in the building and possible drug use. Erin accepted punishment rather than fight for the truth, because the principle promised to keep the event off of her record if she spent the day in detention. Of course, it will be a very long time before she ever risks herself to help anyone again.

History: Chris had gotten detention again, not a big surprise. What was a surprise was that today he had actually shown up for it. Most of the time he didn't even bother attending class, showing up whenever he had nothing better to do. Chris was a first rate punk, coming from a long line of troublemakers. He coasted by with Ds in most of his classes, barely putting the effort required for that. Most teachers passed him on so they wouldn't have to deal with him again. He'd nearly been expelled for bringing a weapon to class, but the principal made such a mess of the case they had no choice but to let him stay. He was just coming off a week long suspension for smoking during class, as he literally lit up a cigarette during one of Mr. Stewart's boring lectures about some conflict in eighteenth century France.

The act of mischief that got him into trouble this weekend was vandalism. One of the teachers had caught him tagging the rear of the library with a very elaborate, and very artsty, bit of graffiti and ordered him to detention. He was planning to skip, but when he learned his father would be making parole he figured it would be better to bum around in the library for a day than it would be to listen to him and his mom go at it... fighting and fucking. It's all his family knew.

History: Samuel Dean had been born into money. Money his father spent freely on private tutors and education for his son. Sam was gifted and became a brilliant scholar.

Sam's only downfall was his tendancy toward excess. He exploited women, crashed fancy cars and often got into trouble with his family fortune. These vices kept him from finding any real direction as he went through years and years of school as "Undeclaired".

His father had gotten him a job as a high school principal through a friend on the schoolboard, who his father had helped get re-eleced.

This job was supposed to be Sam's last chance before his family cut him off. Sam felt strange commanding High School students, as he felt more like a kid himself than an authority figure. The job, however, appealed to his hunger for power, and he found himself doing a pretty good job (for how little effort he put in). He wore emaculate suits and enjoyed watching the young girls lust after him.

Today he was in charge of overseeing detention, but being inside on such a beautiful day made him feel more like he was IN detention himself.

He left the kids a writing assignment and quickly made his way back to his office to smoke a joint, to take his mind off the fun he could be having away from this place.

History: Jake seems somewhat out of place as a janitor at his age. His parents constantly harassed him about getting straight A's and becoming a wealthy doctor like his father. Jake, on the other hand, didn't give two thoughts toward school and always made up excuses to get out of doing his homework. The second he graduated senior year his parents kicked him out of the house, saying he was on his own from then on. His friends helped him stay on his feet until he got a job at the only place he could find--the very school he graduated from.
Jake is a kind young man but a complete slacker when it comes to work.
