Melody Whetton:

Height-5'5
Weight- 115 pounds
Hair Color- Light blonde
Eye Color- Deep blue
Skills- Trained in hand to hand combat and has a rather decent with a gun.

Bio:

Melody had grown up in Raccoon City, she's never left. Unfortunately for her. She was always known around the high school as being the bad girl. The girl who didn't care who you were, if you were in her way you were going to be removed. Her parents were both scientists with Umbrella and had even dabbled in helping with the creation of the T-Virus. Her parents never really explained to Melody exactly how deep their "dabblings" went but Melody knew better. Her parents were always being called away in the middle of the night and being sent off to remote locations. Business conferences. Thats what they used as their excuse. Melody wasn't stupid. She knew something big was being developed but that wasn't concern of hers. Whatever Umbrella was creating wouldn't affect Melodys life. She was wrong, but that would come at a later time. During a freak "accident" at a lab her parents were killed. Melody was told that her parents had been infected with a rare disease and had died from it. How much of that was actually true, she didn't care to know. Umbrella's lies soothed her.

Now, at the ripe age of 21, Melody is working for Umbrella herself. She is an Umbrella soldier. She is what Umbrella refers to as a "dormant" soldier. She is not brought into action unless there is an extreme situation, such a virus outbreak. Melody is highly trained in hand to hand combat, gunfire and medicine. She always thought her training was useless since she was only brought into action once and it was a false alarm. She had no idea how much her training would come into affect over the course of the T-virus outbreak. Maybe she would survive. Maybe she wouldn't. Only time would tell.

IC:

Melody sat in the local diner eating some breakfast and sipping on coffee as she read over the morning news. It was one of the few days where she didn't have to report to the Umbrella labs, so she looked a civilian today. Her blonde hair was down for once and she wore black shorts with a pink halter top. "Another body found? This is getting out of hand." She shook her head slightly then smiled at the waitress as she left her check on the table. "Thanks Erin." Melody paid her bill then got up from the table and headed outside into the busy streets of Raccoon City. "What is taking the RPD so long to figure out the cause of these deaths?" She mumbled to herself.

William "Superstar" Smith

Will paused at his locker. He was surprised he was a few minutes early. After that Van Damme marathon last night, he thought for sure he'd have slept in way too late. But it was good that he was on time: as part of the Select Police Force., he couldn't afford to run late anymore, even if it meant missing out on that late-night Seagal flick.

Especially with the recent problems, he reminded himself. Zombies, the Arklay Mansion incident... creepy stuff, but it was just rumours. People got freaked easily, probably because of too many horror movies. And if these zombies were the real deal, he sorta owed them his promotion to the newly-formed S.P.F.

Zombies... what a joke! Probably some crazy kids doped up on something and thinking they were vampires or cannibals or something. But then again, he'd heard the rumours floating around, and supposedly those S.T.A.R.S. guys had some really crazy-ass stories to tell. But zombies? This wasn't some George Romero flick, this was real life. But those S.T.A.R.S. cats were pretty hardcore, real serious-like, so maybe there was some truth...

He pulled on his vest, then checked to make sure his guns where in order. He paused, hefting the sub machine gun, relishing it's weight in his hands. Hell, it might be fun to blast a few "zombies." Maybe he'd get lucky and see a few today. He snickered. Zombies, what a joke!

Melody looked at her watched then mumbled slightly, "Stupid meeting. Suppose to be my day off but of course, not going to happen that way." Her pace quickened as she made her way towards the RPD for a meeting with the Police Chief. It seemed that the Police Chief was interested in join his special tactics team with Melody's team. In all there was 10 elite Umbrella soldiers in the city. All of which, Melody commanded. Not funny typically. Most of the Raccoon Officers despised Melody and her team because they worked for Umbrella. It seemed that some people on the RPD special tactics team thought there were zombies in the mountains and that Umbrella was responsible. "Crazy...........Those officers need to stop watching T.V then coming to work." She laughed softly as she walked into the RPD.

She looked at herself, figuring she should be in uniform but she had her Umbrella badge clipped to her shirt, so she should be ok. She always hated the meetings with the Chief Police. He seemed a little off to her, like he was hiding something but who knows. Maybe it was all the years of working in a place like the RPD and never moving up. She laughed slightly then entered the Officers command center of sorts and made her way towards the Chiefs office. She could feel the hate-filled stare on her as she moved through the crowd.

William "Superstar" Smith (Iron's Office)

Will pushed himself into the chief's office. There was already a little crowd. Chief Irons was there, as was some girl who wasn't in uniform, some civvie apparently. Then he noticed the cold reception she was getting, and it occured to him that she was from Umbrella.

Umbrella... he wasn't sure what he thought of them. They had almost single-handedly built Raccoon City into what it was, but they were sure quick to remind people of that, always strutting around like they owned the place.

Well, they sort of did, didn't they? Will shrugged off that thought. Umbrella or not, he always liked the prospect of more cute girls hanging around. He didn't care for the political aspect of things as much as many of his teammates did. S.T.A.R.S. seemed to have some beef with Umbrella, but those were also the guys who started those rumours about zombies.

Whatever; he hoped they'd get this show on the road. He was itching for his assignment, even though he was fairly certain today would be just as "blah" as the previous.

Melody glanced to the crowd of officers that had gathered around the office then looked back to the Chief, " This is why panic is running through the city streets. Because your men aren't trained enough to be professional. They think zombies are running through the woods. How ridiculous does that sound? They are causing unwanted panic in the city. I suggest that from here on out, my team take over the case. Your guys can't handle it apparently." She glanced back to the officers that had crowded around the officer. They were not very pleased with her at the moment. She was just making friends left and right.

The Chief looked at her then looked at his men and nodded slightly, " So be it. Your elite force has complete control over the woods. I'll pull my officers out of there as soon as possible. But I must insist you take some of my specialty trained officers." The Chief glanced around the office. He needed his men in those woods.

Melody nodded slightly, " You pick out your best and get back in contact with me. I have things to do." She turned around and pushed her way out of the office. "These people are so unprofessional." She thought to herself as she made her way outside of the RPD.

William "Superstar" Smith (Iron's office)

Whoa, was this girl for real? She didn't look so cute anymore with a mouth that big. He and every single one of his comrades busted their asses daily - nobody was better trained the Raccoon City PD, especially the Select Police Force. Hell, there wouldn't BE a S.P.F. if Umbrella wasn't causing unrest in the first place!

He wanted to say something, but he could tell in the eyes of everyone present that they were all thinking the same thing about this Umbrella chick. Whatever. Hopefully he'd at least get to head out with the grouop and show up these supposed "Elite" Umbrella forces.

...but why the woods? What the hell were they looking for, bears? Will rolled his eyes and waited for the Chief to make his selections. He wondered if any former S.T.A.R.S. members would get selected - the media, the Chief, everyone was getting on their case lately, trying to smear 'em and make 'em look bad, but they were still some of the best cops there.

Sturm Crane had just arrived at the Police Station. He was already wearing his uniform, having changed at home, and had heard the news. Zombies, or so they said. Wonder what loon came up with that, he thought. He walked into the section of the building that housed S.T.A.R.S., and immediately headed for the firearms cage. He'd pick up plenty of ammo for his Beretta, maybe a rifle or shotgun too. These people needed the S.T.A.R.S. team more than ever. The police themselves couldn't handle this string of murders. But Sturm wouldn't believe in zombies till he saw them himself. He was scheduled to report to Miss Amarkura's office for a briefing. He figured the other guys were already there, so he headed there immediately. As he walked, he went over the facts that he did know. This started in the forest. It rapidly devolved into accusations and fright. Mobs of people were starting to attack other people, biting them. That was about it, actually, he realized. When he was at the Chief's door, he knocked.

Melody shook her head slightly at the shinanigans that happened at the Chiefs office. "Those officers aren't trained enough to protect an 80 year old lady at bingo." She said outloud to herself then laughed slightly. Zombies? In the woods? That just seemed so ridiculous to Melody. Not even fathomable. If there were zombies in the woods, wouldn't the zombies be in town eating people? Umbrella needed to get control of the rumors and fast. People in the town were panicking. They were scared enough to not leave their homes.

She glanced around slightly then noticed someone desperately attempting to push another person off of them. It seemed as if the person was trying to eat the other person. "Thats insane, Melody. It's just some kid high on drugs thinking they are a vampire." Melody rushed over to the person who needed help and was almost shocked by what she saw. The person who was attacking looked like they were.........decaying. She shook her head then grabs the crazy persons arm and yanked the person away, "What the hell are you doing? What are you on?" The person instantly lunged for Melody and was ready to take a chunk out of her. She reached for her gun then remembered she wasn't in uniform.

Melody elbowed the person in the throat then manuevered behind the person so that she had the persons hand in a handcuffing position. "Boy, you went after the wrong person." She glanced around some then looked to a civilian. " Go inside the RPD, tell an officer or anyone you can find that Umbrella Soldier Whetton has a hostile situation but is unarmed. Tell them I need handcuffs and an EMT for a different civilian." The civilian nodded then ran inside to find Melody help.

She forced the person to the ground then glanced back to the injured person, " You doing ok? Don't worry we got EMTs on the way ok?" She smiled slightly but her concern was growing. The injured person was not looking to good. Almost sick like. Probably just shock. Emts would handle it.

William "Superstar" Smith (Iron's room)

Sweet - Superstar was gonna get to hit the woods. Even if it was just to dispel rumours, he wouldn't mind it. Have a little picnic, maybe sneak along a lady-friend, tell her a few zombie rumours to scare her into getting all cuddly and jumpy like girls tended to do...

He leaned back against the wall of the chief's room, losing himself in thought while Irons kept rambling. A sudden commotion outside alerted his senses. Was something going on? Nah... Irons just kept on going and most of the cops present didn't seem to notice.

Okay, so it was probably nothing, but he still wished the Chief would hurry up. Will grinned to himself at his lack of patience. Maybe all those mile-a-minute action flicks HAD taught him Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. Whatever, he wasn't controlled by what he watched - he just preferred action over talk.

Johnny nodded his head, looking at the victim. It didn't look good... the guy had bite marks all over him. What was he doing, letting some crack addict just feast from him?

No, it couldn't be. When Johnny came up, the guy was fighting him off tooth and nail. It was damn lucky she herself wasn't torn apart.

He ran into the police station, not bothering with the front desk.

"Hey!" He had to scream to get the attention of the wandering guys around the station.

Although, his eyes spotted them immediately. Police keys, laying there on someone's desk. They looked nice, all sparkly, so many keys. So many locks that he could open.

"Hey! Someone's out there! Some girl, she's being attacked by a meth freak or something. He's biting everyone he can. She said he name is Whetton, she's some Umbrella soldier."

That seemed to grab some people. Some seemed to cringe at the biting, others perked their ears when they knew it was Whetton. Johnny didn't care, he used the flurry of movement to grab for the keys, making them disappear.

He turned, looking back at the front door, seeing who was going to be the boyscout.

William "Superstar" Smith (Leaving the precinct)

Will was stoked to be choosen to join up with that Umbrella chick's group. It was just a matter of waiting for the word. The meeting adjurned, and Will was the first out the door.

He reaches the main room, and there was a flurry of motion, something going on, apparently. He stopped a passing cop to inquire.

The cop stopped long enough to fill him in. "Some druggie is causing trouble out front. I guess some Umbrella soldier got him detained."

Maybe he'd go and check it out, even if some druggie going nuts was tame compared to all the weird shit happening lately. Will made his way towards the front, pushing his way out the doors into the daylight.

S.T.A.R.S Leader

Mayu was patrolling the city, she sighed some nothing was happening which was good, walking back to headquarters she wondered if anything was going to happen. She became S.T.A.R.S leader at a very young age but with her knowledge of guns and the city it was easy to see why, but she didn't think she was better then anyone, since those she works with she is friends with. Mayu is very easy to get along with, she sighed some going to her desk and relaxing.

William "Superstar" Smith (outside the R.P.D.)

(OOC: Is this another deceased RP?)

Huh - there was that Umbrella chick, wrestling with some coke head who looked half-dead. Superstar smirked - where there was trouble, there was always Umbrella.

"Need some help, Umbrella?" He unhooked his own cuffs and tossed them over to her. Where there was trouble, there was always Umbrella, and it was always everyone *else* who had to bail them out. "Having a little trouble with that crack hea...?"

"Oh, shit!" Will frantically waved for medics as he leapt down the stairs as he caught sight of the victim on the ground. He knelt by the injured guy, trying to assess the damage. "Hold on man, you're gonna be alright," he said, wondering where to start. The guy looked like he had been bitten a half-dozen times!

"Was that freak trying to EAT this guy?" Will said, glancing over at the Umbrella chick.
