Hell on Earth: A Demonic Romance (OOC)

"There will come a time when a being of unassuming proportions will bring doom to heaven and hell..."

Serenity is the orphaned daughter of a renegade angel and a mortal woman. Dante is the run away king of hell with a bounty on his head (dead or alive). Together, they struggle to stay alive as the battle between devils and the Angelic Order rage around them. But pacifist Serenity, often finds herself trying to cool the murderous impluses of her demonic life companion.

Brought together by chance, Dante has cast aside his duties in hell to live a peaceful life with his new life companion; after all he made a promise and despite his devilish background he's a man of his word. But was it by chance that these two opposites met?

While they enjoy their moment of peace and clarity, two factions are hot on Dante's trail, one led by his older brother who just so happens to be the feared General of Hell's army. His objective is to protect Dante and return him to the throne. The other faction led by his cousin who is on the verge of a wide scale war that will rock both heaven and Earth to its core. His objective is to watch Dante die!

With the constant wars in hell, Heaven cannot ignore the inevitable. Dispatching the Angelic Order, they set out to find and retrieve the messiah from enemy hands with this mission will rain down death and destruction all over...in short the Apocolyspe is upon us.

Join me in creating an open story of love and chaos between two unlikely characters. An angel and her demon lover...there are plenty of open roles to play, human, devil, angel, ghouls and ghost alike...

Age: 21
Occupation: Poor college student/ fast food attendant
Powers: Spiritual Psyche -giving her the ability to see ghosts, ghouls, demons and angels at will. She can communicate with them on a spiritual plane in her sleep or while awake. Through a touch she can send lost souls to heaven soothing their hearts and minds. While most demons and ghouls seek to devour her divinity for nurishment. She is capable of defending herself with this psychic ability but is hardly able to control it at will, thusly resulting in a messy outcome.
Bio: An orphan child of a renegade angel and mortal women, Serenity has lived an unproductive life up until now. In her one room apartment she has lived a lonely life, going day to day from school to work and back again. With help from her best friend and her aunt, Serenity has managed to survive thus far. With he strange abilities, the rest of her family finds her to be a curse and want nothing to do with her. As a result her aunt opted to get her a home, although lacking it serves its purpose well. She is frequently visited by her friend if only to make sure the lanky girl eats...she can't cook for shit.

Belial, Brother of Dante
Age: Unknown. and give or take a few hundred years older then Dante.
Occupation: Supreme Commander of Hell's armies

Powers/Bio:One does not come to lead Hell's armies only through sweet talk and a vast fortune, and Belial's powers in magic and combat are second only to Dante himself when he sat on Hell's throne.

Since Dante's flight from his position, Belial has been on a constant pursuit of his elusive brother, leaving his most trusted lieutenants in charge of dealing with their maniac of a cousin and...dealing with...the agents of Heaven.

When not in his true form, Belial takes on the appearance of a knight clad in obsidian plate armor with a long, flowing cloak of the deepest crimson, matching the color of his eyes. His long black hair falls just below his shoulders, framing his strong but disarmingly handsome face. Always with him is his favorite weapon: Naberus, the Soul Crusher; a runesword nearly as tall as his six-foot frame. The jagged blade of the weapon pulses with a demonic aura of its own when drawn, always calling for more blood...

Bio: Melody was always one of the kind of girls that didn't say much, her best friend Serenity was the only friend she had and she loved her friend like a sister. She would do anything for her. They do everything together, she wasn't always around but now she will be, she owns a very successful dance club that demons, angels and humans go to, but all in human form no one knows who is what. Everyone comes here and she vows to protect Serenity the best a friend can do. Sometimes she won deres what her deal is on the planet, she was alone she only had her friend which she was thankful to. But she is looking for her place in the world. Melody knows a lot of languages and is brilliant, unfortunately no one gives her a chance to prove she is worth something.

Even tho Melody is human she gets visions sometimes awake or asleep and she can also heal wounds at will.

Virgil Biography


Name: Virgil

Demeanor: A sadist above all; driven into him by the envy and hatred towards Dante, escalating to hatred towards all living things. A certain degree of manipulation also drives on this motivation of revenge towards his cousin.

Skills: Wielding the Secace, a legendary sword with immense power; he lingers on earth massing his power through supporters - foot soldiers. While this is amongst many aces up is sleeve, one cannot forget that he is demonic, thus giving him the ability to conjure up the fury of fire and brimstone in its many forms.

Bio: Virgil, an heir to the throne of Hell, used to dream of his distant birthright. Although, he did have his own birthright to the Secace, a sword said to have been wielded by Sir Lancelot. Though the dream was dashed with his exile from hell, for suspicion of plotting to overthrow Dante. Once on earth, fueled by hatred, he began a series of killings, becoming known as the Brimstone Killer. An instant hit with the darker audience; he had his first troops for his revenge, and more would come. Months after, he had became the life of gothic Chicago, with a few demons, most Kindred, and plenty of Lupines behind him. It seemed that Virgil’s new goal was not revenge as much as it was complete obliteration of the Dante’s world.

Before you all post here's a quick run down to help.

Dante has been missing from hell for about four weeks. He was previously wounded by Virgil upon his escape from Hell. Virgil has no clue where Dante is since their battle but is hot on his tail just the same. Belial is also setting up means to search Earth and return Dante back home.

While everyone else can go about their daily lives until they meet up with each other.

Occupation: Gas station attendant/ college student
Powers/Weapons: Summoning "Holy Blasts"- telekinetic power that causes damage to those of demonic blood, as well as flight... Because she's got wings (Though they retract into her body while taking a "human" form). She also has a sword reffered to as Angelic Blade.

Bio: One of the youngest (If you call that young) of the Angelic Order, she's most often sent as the scout to keep tabs on Serenity. Still a bit off in most human areas (after all, she hasn't been one on almost 200 years..), she only seems to be at her strongest and most 'together' points when something is wrong. Don't let her odd disposition fool you- Clara's got one heckuva fight to her.

Age: Unknown (looks 35)
Occupation: Anchorman / Journalist
Powers: Divine Flames - Being able to burn through anything of an impure substance (be it human or demon), he can burn it. One is unaffected by this flame if they are ordained by God for his salvation will protect them. Anything outside of that protective light will be burned to a chrisp. He can also generate weapons through these flames the most notable a flame sword or flame bow n' arrows. He has foresight which allows him to see a demon for its true self, protecting him from falsehood. Having only one wing makes him and earth bound angel however, this one wing is useful in protecting him even though he cannot fly he can float.
Bio: Nova is a serious man of God. Hand picked as one of the best he was close friends with Serenity's father who later went renegade after falling in love with a mortal woman. Because of this act, Nova was sent to take the woman's soul destroying it from both heaven, hell and earth never to be reborn. A sad thing for him to do but orders were orders. Now his new mission is to find and retrieve the messiah; the girl Serenity and keep her safe from the many demons that roam the Earth.

He is the head of the Angelic Order, a group of angels brought together to protect the Messiah at all costs. As a side note, they live on Earth and are dispatched seperately around the world and in various cities helping to protect human souls from the demons that wish to devour them. Nova is the only angel with one wing, after long drawn out battle with Serenity's father, his wing was ripped off leaving him crippled and unable to return to heaven though he is not without his purpose.
