To the Manner Born: OOC

Lord Peter Quentin Wilberforce Hampton.
Known to his friends as Lord Peter, now that he has inherited the Hampton Manor House and estates.

6 foot 3 tall, with brownish hair, and blue eyes.
Muscular, and very fit indeed, he loves riding his stallion out at dawn each day.

Lord Peter was a Colonel in the Guards, before resigning the commission, to take his place in the House of Lords, and at the manor

Welcome Lord Hampton!
Makes a cute little curtsey
Plenty of room for others as well!
Just email me with your character ideas!

William Peter Hampton
Son of Lord Hampton
Known to family and friends as Will
Age:20
Height 6'1
Weight 220lb
Light Brown hair, Blue eyes
Muscular build
Will prefers to be in the stables with the horses or spending time with the servants. He thinks they are more down to earth than his parents snooty friends - both much to his fathers dismay. He also has no problem being with women of the serving class as they are much less sexually inhibited. When the family moved into the manor, the first one to catch his eye was Anna. He knew from the past that he'd be competing with his father for her time.

Shmoe,

I think it would depend on how old Lord Hampton is. But otherwise, it sounds interesting.

Not a problem. I am willing to take the role of Thomas Mason as listed. If that's ok with GypsyGirl84.

A little guidence here please:

A time period that this is taking place?
A description of the Estates? Or if you like as the Masrh Warden, I can make up it boundries and surrounding areas.
Is there a town/village near by?

Schome_128 it is ok with me for you to do Thomas Mason.

Blue Dolphin; How can Lord Peter be only 23/24 if he was a Colonel, even his birth right and family, the most at that age would have been a captain. If the time period is present day, maybe a 1st lt.

Just questions that would help the story.

Thank you

The Roleplay: Anna is an innocent young girl in 19th century England. Her parents have secured her a position as a chambermaid of the estates of young Lord Hampton. Lord Hampton recently inherited the estates from his grand-aunt, and has only recently....

So, unless GypsyGirl disagrees, I will assume the role of Thomas Mason. This is her thread after all.

Works for me. And all of you feel free to start posting over at the regular thread, once you work out all your differences. As far the Colonel/age thing is concerned, I know there were some fairly young Colonels (as in mid- to late-twenties) in the state militias during the U.S. Civil War. I wouldn't know about the ages in England, though.
