I've met someone quite special here at Lit. It wasn't my intention but I'm very glad that it happened.

I won't go into details but I will say that I look forward to the day that Lit is not our main form of communication.

I met my Master here at Lit and by complete accident. I was in the BDSM area (which I knew nothing about) and I saw something he had written, wanting a sub. Well, my curiousity got the best of me. I sent him a pm and we talked later that night on Yahoo. Let's just say we knew we had the start of something good However, I never dreamed how good. We first talked on 2/4/06 and we've been talking on Yahoo and the phone almost every day since. Neither of us were looking for love and we both had been quite jaded because of past experiences. But, when love is meant to be, you can't stop it. I visited him in the middle of July and that just confirmed what I knew was true, that we were great for each other I love him and miss him terribly. I'll always be greatful to Lit for making this possible. Who needs EHarmony? That's what I always tell him

I met my Joe in the Author's Forum in 2005. We spent 10 months getting to know each other and falling in love online. We were both in unhappy marriages and got out of those. He came to pick me up at my sister's on my 40th birthday. We have been incredibly happy living together for almost 6 months. True love can be found on Literotica.

I too met someone very special on Lit, its still early days yet but the feeling have been mutual and we speak frequently - just hoping for the day that the current chapters in our lives finish and that we can look forward to the future.

Master and i met through Lit....i wasnt looking for anything other than friendship at the time but...well...these things happen and i am sooooooo glad W/we got chatting!

I have also met a couple of very good friends through Lit too....a couple of them VERY close......

I don't get online much anymore, since marrying and moving to England to be with my Litmate; but saw your thread today and figured I'd share our tale with you.
We met on Lit back in 2003 and although I was in a LTR with another Litizen, my future hubby and I got along like a house on fire!
Well... to make a long story short, after the LTR with Mr. Litizen ended, future hubby (starkpic) and I began to communicate in earnest. Emailing several times a day, posting here and speaking o'r the 'phone. We met early the following year and were married in the spring. We knew we were right for one another then and that feeling is still with us today.
Sometimes cyber can lead to R/L, but if that's what anyone is after, total honesty and trust are required.

I think it is time for more elaboration on my story...

This is not such a knee-jerk reaction to today and its twists and turns, but more clarification as to how I am right now.

As I said above, I stumbled upon someone very special to me here, she came along during what was, and still is, a very difficult part of my life. In all the time I have been going through this patch, she has been supportive of me, has shown an incredible amount of understanding and compassion.

We developed feelings for each other during this point, and all the way through, she made it clear to me that I had to deal with my marriage and my children. At no point whatsoever, did she step in to try to make a decision for me and pull me in her direction. I know that on the outside looking in, this sounds as if I did all that I could to wreck my marriage, but truth be known, it was in tatters long before I came here to Lit. In essence, she was for me, the right person in the right place, but at the completely wrong time.

I have had to leave my home because of developments in my marriage that were caused by the deterioration of the family and the effects of the bitterness and arguements were having on my two young children. I miss them dearly, and I am working on repairing things so that they will be able to soon see me happy again.

All through this time, my rock here has stood behind me and shown me that after all that I have been though, that all the hurt that has been bestowed upon me in the form of put downs and hurtful comments I am in her eyes, a nicer person than I ever knew. I have been shown love beyond measure, and I am going to one day prove to her, that I am going to make good on every single promise I have made her.

There is months of hardship ahead for both of us, we know this, but in the end, we will be able to say we did it. I thank Lit for helping me find the one person, who has made me truly happy.
